Check in wasn’t good. Had to wait 15 minutes for the only clerk to get off the phone. Everything else was good. Great location to the troll.

Room had someone hair in the shower when i arrived. I asked to have it cleaned for my 2nd night and it was still therethe next day after they cleaned it

My wife has medicine that requires refrigeration. The crappy refrigerator in the room has a built in 2 hour timer. It times out every 2 hours requiring you to push a button to restart it. What a STUPID idea~!

Nice location next to the lake and park. Good spot to go troll hunting in the Detroit Lakes area.

I liked to walk along the lake across from the hotel. I liked the availability of a business center where I could print out a boarding pass .

The hotel is next to the lake, and the park across the street had a famous troll that many can stop and take pictures with. We just stayed for a night, but as the street is busy and next to a bar, it got a bit noisy.

Even though we had a problem with our first room, they offered us another room right down the hall right away. The staff was very nice and the room was clean.

We made a very last minute reservation midweek on a cross country road trip. The price was higher than most of our stays, but the room was worth it. We were safe, close to the lake, and a lovely coffee shop. The bed was comfortable and clean. The room was cozy and everything worked as expected. I would definitely stay there again.

Everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful. I thought the room and hotel was up to date. Breakfast had a lot of options. This was my first time staying here and definitely will come back. Close to restaurants and beach.

Stayed over 4th of July. The room was clean and quiet. Location was perfect. Saw the fireworks from front of building. Staff were very friendly. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great location. Nice restaurants and bars within walking distance. Beach across the street. Best breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel. Definitely will stay again.

Very nice staff and located right off Detroit Lakes. The hotel is not that old but the caulking in the bathroom shower was not good and for the $400 + I spent each night I expect quality kleenix, toilet paper, etc. Everything was fairly clean but not over the top. The breakfast area was nice though and set up with lots of tables. Won't stay here again unless I book a different way. Hotels.com price was $100.00 a night more than just calling the hotel. My sons and I both had reservations and I paid $200 more for the exact same room. Kind of disappointing.

Our room was clean and the beds are super comfy! Easy parking next to hotel. The lake is across the street and Hub 41 (restaurant next to hotel) is a great spot for drinks and/or dinner. We were in town visiting family and will definitely stay here again in the future.

It was a nice stay and our first time stay. One thing we felt was the bathtub was a little slick as soon as soap hit the tub. We could see this as a potential hazard as most tubs have some sort of grip or something that helps to prevent slupping. One thing we had at the Lodge was Muesli that they made onsite and think it wiuld be a great addition to your breakfast. It was nice being close to the lake and the restaurants.

Booked a king room with sofa pull out couch and got a room with 2 queens instead, not ideal with a one year old baby. Also the microwave start button wouldn’t work.

Perfect for a family stay. We represented four states - gathered at Fairfield. It is the perfect location in Detroit Lakes. The staff was very friendly. We loved the breakfast staff. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Minnesota.

Free breakfast was good. The parking area is tight. I wished there was a place to sit outside in nice weather. So close to lake with no place to sit. Friendly staff. Id recommend this hotel
