Excellent stay. Very quiet neighbourhood. Beautiful view of the ocean. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed. It's a great place to relax and shut down from the world. Free parking was a bonus. Enjoyed a relaxing facial at the spa.

Extremely gorgeous property with hospitable staff. The restaurant at the hotel is phenomenal and we ate there almost every night of our stay. The rooms are a nice size and the beds were super comfortable. I think every room has a spectacular view of the ocean. Only issue we experienced was thermostat in room...its centrally controlled by the hotel and our room was a little on the warm side.

We stayed in one of the apartments and it was a beautiful place.We enjoyed the heated pools and the turkish bath/sauna.The food at the restaurant was beyond amazing. Camila was our waitress/bartender for the evening and was extremely friendly and offered great recommendations.

Solid hotel, ocean view was amazing, would stay there again! Also used the indoor pool and Sauna, everything was in good working order.

Came to the island for a winter break. Booked in to this hotel for one night, but enjoyed it so much we stayed for two. Super, spacious, clean room. Staff very helpful and friendly. Excellent restaurant food. Overall, amazing value. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Thanks.

The original room was not as booked (two single beds provided). This was corrected the following day.

Hoping for more rom a 4 star hotel. Lights went at 10:30pm (3 times after they tried to fix it). Finally changed our room, no help given. New room with tea making facilities, original room was not provided with this. No apology or acknowledgement of this upon check out. Bad service in what could be a nice hotel.

Everything is fine only the climate control (heating) not yet begin and it can be chili inside the room during middle of the night. Wish the hotel has 4-season climate system.

Clean place with swimming pool. Helpful reception. Restaurant can improve by being more creative. Ie. Every day the same breakfast, no music during dinner, hospitality of one of the waiters.

We stopped them from ruining our holiday. The Lince is far from a 3 star hotel, with service worse than the 50 euro guesthouse we stayed at in Ponta Delgada. Upon check-in, we were assigned a parking lot facing room without a bathtub (I think the only one). We had booked online and the description of the room specified that there would be a bathtub, so it looks like its pure luck whether you get a sea view room or the parking lot room (for the same price). Luckily, they had a sea view room available on the 2nd night and allowed us to swap, but when we asked them to move our things between rooms while we were out for the day (like any reasonable hotel would), they looked at us funny and told us to pack our own things and move ourselves. When we checked into the room, it was full of mosquitoes. I asked the front desk to take care of the problem, and she told me to close the windows (which were already open when we arrived in the room). Instead of taking care of the problem, she passive aggressively said shed find us some bug spray and bring it to the room, and never did. I spent 45 minutes hunting 20+ mosquitoes with a towel. Then there was the restaurant. We made a booking and waited 20 minutes before we stood up and took the menu ourselves because the waitress was ignoring us. We then waited another 30 minutes and no one took our order, so we left. To be clear, this is not the waitresss fault but managements as she was alone doing service for the whole restaurant

Everything was fantastic. Great view too. But the dinner was so... not that good, but the service was great.
