Great location right in the center, but without noise issues. Our room overlooked Place du Ralliement. Good cafes right outside. Staff was very helpful with out bikes as well.

Some of the friendliest and most accommodating hotel staff we've met. The hotel is on the main square but was still quiet. Lots of dining/shopping options. They looked after our touring bicycles during our stay.

Stayed 1 night with my family of 4 at this hotel, located in the corner of a very lively plaza, surrounded by restaurants, bars, cafes and clothing stores. No need to drive in this city because everything is walking distance. Just bear in mind the city has hills, so you’ll find yourself walking uphill or downhill with every turn you take. Pros: - 10 minute walk from train station; - 10 minute walk from the castle d’Angers; - 5-10 minute walk to the nearest little market that is open past 8pm; - Family room is spacious, beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is huge. - Breakfast is only around 11euro (we unfortunately did not wake up on time to partake in breakfast). But after looking around for cheaper breakfast options, we couldn’t find anything unless you’re interested in some baked goods or crepes; - The room has AC!! This is luxury in Europe. - Free baggage storage during the day after 11am check-out. Shoutout to the staff working at this hotel - they are all amazing. Having travelled the world, I can say with certainty that I was completely amazed with the excellent customer service and kindness from staff at the front desk. Customer service is multilingual, welcoming and top notch quallity. The only minor con during our stay was not being able to find the patio the hotel advertises. But simply asking the front desk would have fixed this. I highly recommend this place to all locals and travellers! Cheers from Canada!

Small, nice hotel with a great location in the heart of Angers. Staff was very friendly and rooms clean. Could use an update; such as adding A/C in the rooms. Nights could be a bit unpleasant with the warm air and thin walls. All in all, good value for money.

A lovely hotel in the centre of Angers. Overlooking the central town square. Good soundproofing. Very clean. Air conditioned room. We paid for a room with a terrace, which was worthwhile as the room didn't have much space for sitting together.

The television suddenly is switched on in midnight 4:00 am , so scary

Hotel Saint Julien has a great location, A little bit noisy in the evening coz how central the location is. The staff is amazing- very pleasant and helpful.

Reception was excellent, the room was very clean but didn't like the position. Breakfast was very basic and overpriced. The hotel was in an excellent position right in the centre of town.

The hôtel was being refurbished and we were waken up by works done in the next door room. But the staff is super friendly and location great.

This is a dine hotel with good accommodation. It is however a little down at heel and the cleanliness is a little bit careless. Having said that the room is spacious the bathroom super the terrace huge the bed super comfortable and amazing air conditioning. It is also smack bang in the middle of everything and across the street from the tram stop. I would certainly stay again

The builders was very noisy in the morning ,breakfast too overpriced from what they served .

The property is located on the square. The balcony rooms offer amazing views and ambiance. Parking is like many it is off site, but relatively convenient but extremely reasonably priced, 3 euros.

Conveniently located in the center of Angers. Could use some updating in decor. The bathroom needs dusting/cleaning behind the pipes and has hard water buildup in the bidet. The staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to be kind.

In a great position in the main square. Very nice staff.

Right on the square in the middle of the city makes this very convenient to walk from. There is a lot of action below so it is noisy into the morning. No a/c so it might get pretty hot in the summer. Wifi is poor. Raillment underground public parking is very close under the square. Breakfast is average. Overall a nice old hotel with these considerations.

Centrally located with easy access to everything. Light rail link direct to the central railway station. A light breakfast was included making a good start to the day. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

Hotels.com was completely unhelpful and kept trying to stonewall me but the management at the hotel was incredibly helpful and they worked with their own contact at hotels.com to help me resolve the issue and make the necessary changes. I can't thank them enough.

Room decor and amenities quite basic but staff super helpful and friendly and the location is great for historic sites, restaurants and shopping
