Probably the most typical place for a tourist destination that doesn’t care and gets new visitors the day after.
Booked with a sea view, got a view overlooking their restaurant that’s between the hotel and the sea. I did get moved up a floor after a discussion with staff that included highlights as “our definition of sea view is windows in the direction of the sea” - so the view part was irrelevant.
They lock the doors at 23:00, they don’t mention this at all during checkin. We were locked out and just lucky another visitor was in the reception at the time - he got a dirty room and was looking for staff.
You can get a key, but you have to know it and ask for it. Wouldn’t visit again.

Driving from Lis Angeles to Seattle and wanted a nice hotel for the night. It met my expectations. Room was clean and service was good.

No problem with check in. Staff friendly and helpful. Car had to be parked in a public car park 200m from hotel. Situated across road from beach in a central location with good facilities nearby. Breakfast served in a restaurant across the road which was OK. 2 issues. The shower cubicle is very small which has been highlighted in other reviews I have seen. Secondly, the AirCon was ruining flat out and never achieved a cool temp during the day.

The room we were given had been slept in. The bed appeared to have been made and then someone slept on one side of it. It seemed that an employee had taken a nap in the bed while on duty! We went back to the front desk and Laura was sincerely apologetic. She seemed embarrassed by the problem and quickly gave us another room.
The room was typically small but sufficient. Location is second to none. Great views. Loved the rooftop terrace and front porch. Breakfast was nice - great view of the sea from the restaurant across the street paired with fruit, breads, cappuccino and even some scrambled eggs from the buffet.
The area came alive around 9:30pm as the whole town descended on the avenue for the evening passeggiata!
