Good location, clean, good service, bed a bit too hard. Didnt have breakfasts at the hotel but there's 7-eleven next door and a selection of breakfasts at Kanazawa station which is 5-7 mins walk.

10 mins walk to station, clean and good in general

Although it is not a 5 star deluxe brand hotel, the facilities are very user firendly and real attend to guest need. Overall environment is nice and tidy. Room is clean, in-room toilet and bathing area are seperate that enable 2 guests can use the facility semitaneously. Onsen is good and big in relation to the size of the hotel. Slippers are soft, comfortable with thick cusion that is even better to another 5 start hotel where I stayed in the same journey. Will stay again whenever possible.

Perfect hotel to stay

The public bath was really clean and well maintained.

Good decor, clean room. We enjoyed breakfast buffet and public spa. We booked the room with daily breakfast, but we needed to leave for the airport early on the day we left. We asked if we can bring something like a takeout breakfast bag with us. They declined our request. It would be nice if they would let us bring some breakfast on our way out. This is the only regret that we had.

After getting off a long haul flight and headed straight to Kanazawa, there was nothing more we wanted than a hot shower. They weren’t ready for us to check in initially, so we came back right before check-in hours. They were able to give us a room that was already cleaned with extra pillows we had requested at the time of booking. The hotel is surprisingly new and roomier than most standard hotel rooms in Japan. TV was small and placed in a rather strange location, but that’s not a big deal. Public bath was very nice with extra security provided with an additional key. The stay was overall pleasant, even though the hotel is somewhat similar to an American hotel business model (charging extra for little things such as water or extra towels).

Location is good, just 5-min to Kanazawa Train station. Breakfast is good. Onsen is nice.

Great onsen! The breakfast was good but pricey. The hotel is easy to get to from the station but on the opposite side as all the sights.

Hotel was comfortable, and close to the bus and train station, but about a 15-20 minute walk to the city center.

Other side of station from most of the sights but only a five minute walk. Note that jr rail national passes work on 2 bus lines. Fare on others only ¥200 though if better times. Didn't have breakfast at the hotel.

Hotel Vista Kanazawa was amazing. From the moment I walked in it was a warm welcome from all of the staff. They were very helpful. Whether they spoke English or not, they always worked hard to make sure that everything was understood. Your room key scans to let you use the elevator. Once in the Elevator you scan your key again and it takes you to your floor, you don't even have to press a button. Breakfast was every morning, it was buffet style. They had Japanese breakfast and European continental breakfast. The Japanese breakfast was delicious, eggs cooked to perfection. Inside my bedroom there was a tablet/Ipad that had information on it for everything in the local area and within the hotel. There are spa/public bath facilities they have male and female. You use your key to access it. That was 5 star. Stunning and had all the facilities to go with it; hair dryer, lotion, shampoo, towels, robes, slippers, ear swabs, etc.. Everytime I left the hotel and came back, I had a very warm welcome. Overall I had the best time there. I would recommend 100% and also I would return!

Brand-new. Very clean at every tiny corner of the building without no hint of worn-off. Looks like they try very hard to keep as few people on staff as possible to extreme. 5 mins walk from the north gate of the station. The area is a newly-developed office zone with few if any restaurants or shops around so you'd better drop in a convenience store before check-in.

Lovely new-ish hotel, with somewhat small rooms, but well laid out, and great bathroom design. A great price for what you get. Real value.

Great design but not very user friendly

Close to station and sign is visible from the JR exit - opposite Korokoen side - and on main boulevard. Opened less than a year ago and very clean. I had a compact double on the fourth floor which was alright - the open bath and restaurant are on the second floor and are both good. Only two elevators which can be slow at times. Overall, comfortable and convenient.

The hotel was very clean with good sized rooms large bathroom for Japan. While it is near Kanazawa station, it is on the Western side of the station but most sites are on the Eastern side so it adds a few minutes of extra walking time if you wanted to walk to the sites, such as Omi-cho Market, Higashi Chaya area etc. But if you plan take the bus services from Kanazawa station to these sites, the hotel is perfectly convenient. One thing I noted was that the air-con / or heating was centrally controlled and I couldn't adjust the temperature in my room.
