We enjoyed 3 nights at this beautiful riad, they were so welcoming and kind. We had a light dinner the first night as we were tired from our drive. They were happy to accommodate us and the food was delicious. We had the panoramic room that had a lot of stairs to get to it but the views and privacy were great. We would recommend this place when staying in Essaouira.

Stayed for a few days and had an amazing experience. The riad is clean, comfortable and very well located. The staff is also extremely friendly and super helpful, would definitely stay again and highly recommend

Riad Chbanate is a beautiful traditional Moroccan style boutique hotel in the medina. It is a short walk to the centre where you will find plenty of restaurants and shops, including the souks.
The riad is very clean, comfortable and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming.
The rooms are spacious and fully equipped with robes, slippers, toiletries, water, coffee machine and air con.
Breakfast was delicious, with home cooked pastries and freshly squeezed orange juice.
We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was home cooked to order. Again it was delicious as well as beautifully prepared and presented.
Overall we would highly recommend Riad Chbanate for your stay in Essaouira.

Our stay at Riad Chbanate was absolutely amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and every suggestion they made for restaurants and other services were spot on. The riad was really peaceful, clean and comfortable, our room was nice, and the breakfast was great. Highly recommended, hopefully we'll get a chance to visit again.

This is a lovely riad within the walls of the old medina. So expect to find your way from the roadside to the front door. Very helpful staff and lovely breakfasts. We will come back if we are in the city again.

We had an exceptional experience staying with Ryad Chbanate. The staff was welcoming, friendly and went out of their way at every turn to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

We had such a lovely stay at this peaceful and beautiful Riad. The room was so pretty and comfortable, the staff was attentive and helpful, the breakfast was delicious.

A great Riad for a short stay in Essaouira. The.open fire was lovely for a chilly January and the staff were also very warm and helpful. Only a few minutes walk from the taxi dropoff too.

This riad is amazing. Great staff, great breakfast, great room, great turtle! I'm hooked on the argan soap and that shower is my favorite shower in the world. Can't wait to go back will definitely be staying here.

We booked the room at the very last minute after our planned stay turned out poorly. We loved the location, the staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great, the room was clean, there was hot water and air conditioning… overall an excellent Riad.

Quiet oasis inside the busy Medina. The room was very comfortable, the service was great. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would very happily stay at Riad Chbanate again, and I highly recommend it.

Warm and friendly staff. Nice roof garden with hot tub but we were lucky to have it to ourselves as only 2 of 8 rooms were let. It’s 10 minutes walk to the beach and down a back ally but it felt safe.Bathrooms are amazing with plenty of hot water. There was a fridge in the room. It’s expensive fir Morocco though.

Great location. The Riad is located near the edge of the medina. We took the Supertour bus from Marrakech. The drop off was only a 10min walk from the Riad. The room was well decorated and comfortable. We roof top was amazing and had a hot tub. Since we were there in the winter we were not able to take advantage of it. We would definitely stay at the Riad Chbanate again.

An easy walk from Supratour bus stop, this gorgeous riad was my favorite stay in Morocco. The painted ceilings, windows, and fabulous marble bathtub in our Mauresque Suite felt like a page from the Arabian Nights. The room was spotless and meticulously cleaned each day. A hot tub on the rooftop terrace outside our door was a welcome place to enjoy sunshine despite the cool temperature. Best of all, the staff is exceptionally warm and professional, and breakfasts were excellent as was our welcoming dinner on the first night. Greggi and Hicham made excellent local restaurant suggestions and offered restorative tea when I felt a bit under the weather. Truly an oasis of hospitality!

The staff was super friendly and helpful with our travels. They even upgraded us to a beautiful room because we mentioned it was our honeymoon. Of the 6 places we stayed in Morocco we agreed this was our favourite. Book it!

Riad Chbanate is a charming place to stay. It is a in a quiet street offering a welcome break from the thrum of the tourist areas. Each room is uniquely decorated and there are lovely rooftop terraces to relax or read a book. The courtyard is attractive as well. Staff is very helpful and willing to assist with whatever you may need.

We spent 2 wks in morocco, and Riad Chbanatewas by far our favorite accommodation! The staff was insanely helpful - excellent suggestions, organized an authentic hamman experience with one of their staff (one of the highlights of our trip!) and even offered to help us organize plans once we left the riad. The riad itself was absolutely stunning. The rooms are each uniquely and differently styled - warm, cozy atmosphere with impeccable decor. Took a long bath amongst rose petals the night we arrived :). Excellent location and easy to get to from the bus station. I would highly recommend Riad Chbanate - can’t say enough great words about it!

The staff was extremely friendly & helpful. The breakfasts were generous and good; one night when we needed to eat at the Riad (after the normal request time), the desk staff jumped in and prepared just what we needed. Very nice rooms and terrace. A fine place to stay.
