A horrible experience at all ends, for which they refuse any kind of a refund. The room smelled when we arrived, and further inspection revealed the bedsheets had not been changed (dirt, filled with giant hairs, creased from the previous night's bodies). The property was impossible to contact, for over 24 hours, meaning they couldn't put it right and we had to book elsewhere. Even Expedia found it difficult to get in touch with them! Give the Madison Marquette so-called Hotel a WIDE BERTH.

Tried to contact the hotel about my booking for 2 weeks and was totally ghosted.

What a great place in a terrific neighborhood! I love the self check in and the communications via texts from the staff were timely and complete. I only wish coffee was available earlier in the morning but that's a me problem. Would definitely stay again.

The room was so bright and spacious. Beds were comfortable and bath with plenty of hot water, towels was great. Such a great little boutique hotel.

This is a super cute little hotel right in the middle of downtown. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

I like not having to check in at a front desk. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the hotel was quiet. I enjoyed walking around the neighborhood.

Great hotel if you're in Madison for an event on the east side of the capitol. Check-in was completely contactless. They texted me the code for the door to the building and my room. The room was modern, clean and bright, with windows overlooking the neighborhood of housing shared by UW students. The lake is a short walk away. I had to leave before 7:30 a.m., so I missed the pastries, as well as the made to order breakfast that was available later. It would have been nice to have the pastries and some coffee out for early risers, since there isn't self-serve coffee in the room. If I stay at this hotel again, I'll plan to bring coffee and snack provisions. It felt like I was part of the neighborhood.

No response to two texts asking for help with tv. No other path offered for service at this property. The tv better work if no service offered. Cafe operator was very friendly and service oriented but not given any ability to support hotel guests.

This was a great place to stay the night before we flew very early out of Dane Cty Airport. We had been to the Overture and and didn’t want to drive 40 minutes home. Because we had to check out at 4 a.m., we only wished there’d been some fruit or portable snack to take to the airport. We will recommend the Marquette to others.

Property is a nice location on Willy street, and there is so much food and coffee options nearby, and the contact-less check in and also check-out is a nice feature as well, the tv with all the streaming services that we could watch for free was a big plus, and accommodations we requested from the hotel were given to us no problem at all. If you’re in town for a visit, I would recommend The Marquette Hotel!

Not a comfortable hotel. Room has awful vinyl flooring. Very inadequate lighting. TV system is disappointing. Breakfast is really minimal. It's more like a $100 Comfort Inn than a $200 a night hotel. The best thing is the interesting neighborhood it's in.

Great morning pastries and easy check in and out procedures. Parking was not a problem at all.

No elevator. We assigned to third floor. The stairs are narrow. If you are physical limited, it will be a challenge.

Absolutely excellent stay for my daughter and me who were there to see the University. The hotel is on the bus line from the airport. $2 got us there. $2 got us to the University. Check in very easy. Management available for any questions or issues. Loved the free dryer because our clothes got soaked in the rain. We did not have to take wet clothes home with us. Pastries and coffee in the morning were top notch. The room was spotless and sparkling clean. Absolutely no complaints at all. When my daughter is in school during the next 4 years, I plan to stay at the Marquette.
