Nice hotel! Clean room & comfy bed. Only con, water pressure wasn’t great in the shower.

Employees are very friendly. The parking lot is easy and the rooms are comfortable and clean.

Fine room. Did find pool inside wall edge sort of slimy and coated, needs a good scrub but otherwise good.

Great check in

The TV And internet service is terrible and not reliable. It took forever to change a TV station and the Internet would go down frequently. Told the front desk and the said that Spectrum is just like that. The cleaning crew left dirty sheets and towels in the hallways outside the rooms for over 24 hours. Would not recommend!!!

The main areas of the hotel were clean and tidy. the rooms left a lot to be desired. Appeared to be in need of a deep clean, items under the beds and in the dressers showed a lack of deep clean between customers.

Helpful staff, clean, great customer service. Nice location to see a concert at The Factory.

This was a perfect property. we chose the accessible room, which was the best designed hotel room I have ever seen for people are varied Special needs. It was exquisitely clean, and the staff was so helpful. The breakfast was impressive. If I knew all Holiday Inn express hotels were like this, I would stay at them exclusively.

The property during our stsy was very understaffed in the afternoon and evening. The 1 employee working was awesome and very professional. Lots of options for dining and shopping nearby. Very close to major highways for easy access.

I stayed in a handicapped room with a roll-in shower for a single night while we were in town for a local concert. In the morning, when we woke up to shower and get ready to leave, we found several issues - sink didn’t drain, no hot water, no water pressure in shower - but the biggest issue was the floor of the shower itself. I have mobility issues, so my wife warned me about the slick floor before I showered. When I attempted to stand up off the built-in shower seat when I was finished with my shower, my feet slipped and I ended up on the floor of the shower. I was able to make my way out to the bathroom floor and stand up on a towel, Luckily, I was holding two of the safety bars when I fell, easing my landing, but this this is so, so dangerous for people with mobility issues like mine that require a roll-in shower. I reported to location management, but no telling if the issue will be corrected.

Very disappointing stay! 1/2 roll of toilet paper, no bath towels, window shades were broken and one had holes in it and no bag for the ice bucket . Hot breakfast items were very low quality so we passed. Strongly suggest you consider staying in a different hotel in the area.

Good solid hotel, just missing a few minor things that would’ve made it great… like enough cups in the room and orange juice on the breakfast bar our first morning. Also the second elevator clanks and groans alot. Still, a good place. Would stay again.

No hot water at 7:15am in our bathroom for showers. Front desk personnel said this is an ongoing issue. Bath towels thin and worn. Great location for restaurants and other accommodations, which we’ll check out on our next visit. Do not plan to return to Holiday Inn Express.

No hot water and heater in room didn’t work. Other than that it was very nice. But for $200 a night shouldn’t have to take a cold shower.

Hats off to the staff at HIE Chesterfield for their assistance in navigating a difficult situation and making it right. There was apparently some confusion with my Expedia booking that resulted in the HIE not having the specific room type i reserved (Queen suite) available on the day I arrived. The HIE staff tried to handle this before my arrival by booking me in a King suite instead. This would've been fine except that we had 3 adults in our party and needed two beds. The manager at HIE was extremely helpful, booking us instead into a standard Queen double (which was fine enough for our purposes) and then contacting Expedia on our behalf to refund the appropriate amount in room cost. Another great staff story - not 5 minutes after we checked out, we received a call from the HIE saying housekeeping had found that we left a jacket behind. We were able to quickly return before we were able to leave the area, which was great. TL;DR: When you find a hotel with good staff, stay there. I highly recommend the HIE Chesterfield and their fantastic staff. :)

I travel quite a bit and this was an excellent experience. From the very fresh and clean facilities (great breakfast BTW) to the fantastic staff - in particular, Sarah, at the desk - this was a very enjoyable, albeit short, stay. Definitely will stay again if ever in the area.
