Overall a disappointing experience. Property is very dated. Maintenance and updating have obviously been deferred. Perhaps that is what lead to a false fire alarm going off at 2:30 AM. All the manager would do was say “sorry”; all I’d asked for was my breakfast to be covered (a cost to the property of about $5), and he refused. 2/5; would not recommend. I won’t be returning.

We visited for the eclipse. Resort had transportation that made viewing fun and easily accessible. Restaurants were good. Clean rooms and knowledgeable staff. Overall enjoyable experience

It was fantastic! Only complaint was that the room was hot and when we tried to lower the heat it didn’t seem to be working! But other than that it was great and I would recommend the hotel!

Great stay.

Heating system was barely putting out cold air. I complained and the solution was to offer a space heater. I stayed in mid March. What happens in the heart of the winter. Unacceptable.

I have been staying here since it was first built. Location, location, location. The food a camp was good, service great. Checkin was fast, pleasant, simple. My only real criticism is it’s noisy, you hear toilets flushing. You could participate in your neighbors conversations through the walls and they close the bar at 9:00. This puts people back in the rooms early and they stay up and that creates noisy rooms. But location you can’t beat.

Resort was great. Hotel room was mediocre. Hotel restaurants were fantastic though a bit pricey. Hotel lobby had nice fireplace to hang out at. Heated pool and hot tubs were clean. Ski in ski out was very convenient. Will return.

The property itself is great and location is awesome. The staff was also wonderful. My one issue, small one, is that check out is too early(10:30am) for such a late checkin time(6:00pm). Other than that, very nice!

Loud rooms quiet people yelling and walking. This was peek season so I get it but that’s why not an excellent stay

the heated outdoor pool and hot tub were great, as was the dry sauna. The fitness center and locker rooms were well located and appointed. We didn't stay in what I'd call a fancy or luxurious room, but it had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable, parking was easy, and the staff was helpful. I'd highly recommend the property.

Loved the ski in ski out location and the daily ski check made things even easier.

I was there in the off season so it is not hitting on all cylinders. They still did a very good job with service and the restaurant.

Eliminate some periodic weird squicking noise/sound on the ceiling of room 312.

Nice looking place

Gorgeous property! Rooms were very spacious. There’s a sink inside the bathroom and outside, so multiple people can get ready at once. It was a great stopping point on the way to New Hampshire during our leaf peeping trip. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

This hotel is extremely outdated especially for what they charge for a room. I stayed there for a conference in the late 90s and the rooms looked the same. Extremely overpriced for what it is. I realize it is a ski destination for travelers everywhere, but $300 for a mediocre room in October? The girl at the front desk at check I was condescending and rude. I thought the text at 9am reminding me I needed to check out by 10:30 was also rude. Not very welcoming. I live about an hour and a half away and wanted a luxurious night away above my budget. Kids running and screaming through the hallways was also not impressed. I will never pay to stay there again.

Unfortunately it is one of few hotels in the area. It was clean and the staff was very helpful.

Bedding and towels smelled fresh and clean. Other items in the room appeared clean. Some people didn't realize they could control the air conditioner by pointing the small remote control at the air conditioner above the windows. Maybe make this info a bit clearer? Overall, I was very pleased with this facility.

A great escape from the city life.

This was my third stay at this hotel. It's a perfect place to do an overnight if you're interested in going to the falls in the area. The outdoor pool is huge, the hot tub is right next to the pool and large enough to feel like you aren't rubbing elbows with strangers, the ski hill and lift are in the back drop and there is a bar poolside for those who want a drink (I don't drink so I can't attest to the quality of drinks). The gym facility is really clean as well as the sauna. The restaurant in the hotel did not have the Sunday buffett like it has in the past. We had to order off a menu. The food was nicely presented but average tasting if you're a seasoned foodie. Overall, this is a really clean and quiet place that's centrally located to the area's activities of river swimming, hiking, Sunday River ski lift and shopping in Bethel.

the hotel was in need of renovation, constant rumbling of hvac equipment was a nighttime distraction making a poor sleep. Restaurant food was limited and over priced. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Great place

One person working at check in and a line out the door. Room wasn’t ready so we got to experience it twice.

I especially enjoyed talking with Miche during our check-in. He was very helpful.

Friendly staff, beautiful hotel and grounds, clean room, love the restaurant/bar onsite. This was my 3rd stay and I will definitely be back again.

Nice place, friendly staff. Booked two queen beds but got Murphy bed and pull out couch which sucked.
