They charged us for cleaning when we arrived and the place was filthy. Spiders, stains, food crumbs from previous tenants, cat poo everywhere outside, I have many pictures to post. I also complained before I arrived because they asked for extra money when I had already paid Expedia for city and property taxes. I needed to pay an extra €17.60 for cleaning and VAT. As I mentioned already the place was filthy. Hairs on the floor around the shower, black mold everywhere in the shower. It was worse than a hostel. When I tried to explain I had already paid taxes and show the receipt the owner was very stern that I still needed to pay more. I had already paid €86 for the dump! I'd like some money to be returned and this property to be taken off Expedia.

I stayed here for 10 nights and the host Sergi was extremely helpful whenever I need something. The place is in quite residential areas and 30 minutes walking distance from city centre. All the amenities are provided for self catering. It is cheap and cheerful place for short stay.

The guesthouse was clean and had everything you required. The location is in a Residential area which makes it quiet but its excellent for going to the museums, getting into the city and finding decent bars. The host was polite and courteous, nothing was ever a problem and he also did a good breakfast one morning for me.

Great cheap hotel. For 5 euro deposit you get a transport card which allows to use free bicycles. Kitchen is sufficiently equipped. wifi is good enough. Single room size is fine for a short stay. Sergey (hotel manager) is very helpful. Basically nothing to complain about, especially for this price. I was a bit surprized I have to pay extra fees at arrival but then noticed it being mentioned in the hotels.com booking confirmation, so be ready for it :) It was about 23 euro for 5 nights.

Its a great little guesthouse and friendly owner. Free safe parking. Area is very quiet. Only negative thing was the cleaning fee we were charged (its written in the description, but we missed it). Never ever has any place charged us a cleaning fee when booking a hotel or guesthouse thru Hotels.com. Should be added into the price.

Clean place, the guesthouse owner was helpful, a little bit of walk to the city centre but overall a nice stay. You can also borrow the public bus/bike cards from the guesthouse owner to go around places.

Deficient heating, real small room, poor higiene on bathroom, uncomfortable bed... result, very bad night sleep. Never more. Don't understand how this kind of places are open for public.

I had a wonderful stay at Family Guesthouse! My room/apartment was very clean and comfortable, the staff also very helpful and accommodating. A bit outside of the center on a nice, quiet street and nearby to many restaurants and bars.

Needed to take one bus then walked for 5-10 mins to get there. Buy bus card (2 Euro, refundable w receipt) and load 1.2 euro pp per trip to card at info center or bus station. There is a supermarket at bus stop but closes early on Sunday. Breakfast with fee was not available during my stay. Due to old wood farm house we could hear people talking and walking on second floor where we stayed but there are only three rooms so the noise was brief. Arriva bus to Lake bled stops at the same Niko Sista stop. Pay 5.8 Euro pp one way. Free bicycle rental card provided by owner at check in.

Host is amazing person, very kind and hospitality. He helped us with how rent free bicycles and driving us to train station.

We were disappointed that the description on Expedia didn't really match the location online - the hotel was nearly an hour and a half walk from the main town which was misrepresented in the information online. We were not told until we were there that we would have to pay with cash, and were not allowed to pay by card which was frustrating as four nights accommodation for four people is costly. Our room was entered every day by staff, but we are not sure what they did - floors remained unswept and the bathroom not cleaned which was disappointing.
