The motel has been renovated recently, it's very clean and located on a quiet street, only 5 minutes away from the harbor.

The hotel is very clean , the area is nice and quiet , very relaxing, the location is very convenient , right in town . The staff is friendly and helpful, I would definitely return there.

We, the grandparents took our three teenage grandchildren to Tobermory for a short (3 night) vacation. We chose the "log cabin" owned by Escarpment Heights and were VERY pleased. Two large bedrooms each with queen beds plus a third queen bed in the very spacious loft area. There is a excellent kitchen with full sized refrigerator, propane oven, microwave etc. Also a good sized TV ( which we never used) and a very efficient and QUIT air conditioner which we did use.
The location is OUTSTANDING as we could walk to restaurants, the National parks visitor Centre and the harbour for our cruise in 5 or 6 minutes. Parking is at a premium in Tobermory so it was great to park right at our accommodation, situated on a large treed lot. The Foodland grocery store was a 5 minute drive and VERY nice, bright, clean and well stocked.
Oh yes, there is beautiful porch across the entire front of the house sized "cabin". A great place for a quiet morning coffee as the town came to life and equally suitable for a quiet "adult beverage" at the end of a fine day on the Bruce peninsula. There is a charcoal BBQ and a fire ring so come prepared with BBQ utensils if desired.

Kudos to the owners! We were pleasantly surprised when we pulled in. Apparently they renovated five years ago and they did an amazing job. The motel has curb appeal, the rooms are spotless and everything about this place is super clean! The bedding and pillows were extremely comfortable and and we love that every room has a balcony with chairs. We sat out for morning coffee and an evening drink and didn't so much as see even a bug. In my opinion it is more pristinely maintained than many of the large chain hotels! If ever in the area we will definitely choose this as our place to stay!

Faucet in bath tub EXTREMELY stiff to open, to the point that we thought we were going to pull it off the wall - but still no water. When we let the staff in the office know, they were a bit dismissive, implying we didn’t know how to work it. They said they’d look at it though, but don’t know if they did because it was just as stiff later - though we finally got the water to turn on. A more conciliatory approach would have been appreciated.

Room was comfortable and location was perfect. Easy 5 minute walk to all the shops and boat excursions. We would definitely stay again if in the area. Staff was friendly and very attentive. We had one small issue with our room and it was rectified within minutes. Excellent stay!

We were very pleased with our spacious and attractive room. The staff was friendly and helpful.
My only criticism was that lighting was rather dim so we had to move to be under the light to read.
It was a perfect choice as it was slightly off the main road so nice and quiet, but within walking distance of anything in town, so we never had to move the car.
