The property was nicely decorated. Rooms were very spacious with all the necessary amenities. The manager was very accommodating to all our requests including a late check out. Would def go back

This hostal is a delightful haven in Old Havana, with its two rooftop terraces full of plants. The breakfasts are excellent, the hosts are extremely helpful and accommodating, and the property is impeccably clean. We give it our highest recommendation.

What a beautiful place and an amazing host! We absolutely loved our room and our terrace. What a view and such a cozy and beautiful place. Our host was very attentive and helpful with map, places not to miss and any other stuff we needed. The location was perfect - only 12 min to the main touristy hub. We loved it and would come back again.

So many insects flying at night. Maybe I was just unlucky bad too scared to go out from room during the night. They even kept came into my room from small gaps like under the door. I had to fill the gap to feel safe.

Hostal Los Villanueva offers a wonderful option for staying right in Habana Vieja. The dining area and balcony overlook the bustling street below, while the room that I stayed in was perfectly private and quiet. I was delighted that it had a kettle as well! The staff were most gracious and helpful at all times.

We really enjoyed Villanueva. They were very helpful and sweet. We loved the seating areas and it was amazing to be in such an old renovated building.

the roof top has a nice decorative tables that you can relax and drink a couple of coffee and view the city building and the Malecon ocean. the place was nice and very clean the staff where friendly. In press with the building interior desight .

The casa is beautiful and rooms are comfortable but the staff is aweful, we only stayed one night although two nights were booked. The staff tried to link us while paying.

Perfect place to stay in Havana.

Worth a five-star rating. The hosts attend to every detail, even rising early to make us breakfast before our 6 a.m. departure for the airport. Our room was quiet, comfortable and spotless, with everything we needed -- including a mini refrigerator, safe and hair dryer. The bonus: Access to a sitting area and outside terrace, where we could get on wifi and refine our plans for the day.

Excellent hotel. The owner and staff are very friendly. The location is very convenient -- right in the heart of the old city, minutes away from all old city points of interest. The owner was helpful in exchanging Canadian dollars for Cuban pesos at a very good rate and arranged our transportation to Varadero. The breakfast is excellent. Would highly recommend.

One of the best stays in Havana. The hosts were fantastic and made our Cuban experience awesome. They went out of their way to help with local transportation and giving us tips on places to go and see. The breakfast was great every morning. The room was clean and supplied with all the essentials. When I come back this is the Hotel I will always book. If you want a real Cuban experience with hosts are are fantastic, then this is one of the best. It should be rated a 5 Star hotel

It was really good accomodation with nice and helpfull people. The breakfast was great and big plate with eggs, cheese, ham and fruits. Specially the coffea was great and fresh drink from papaya or tamarind. They ordered a taxi from airport to us.

Excellent B&B (I wouldn't call it a hotel). Very clean and well appointed, but small. Staff was excellent and friendly. Breakfast was superb. Only negative was that we had to eat breakfast on the veranda in VERY uncomfortable tall chairs. Dicey neighborhood on south end of Old Havana. Otherwise great and recommended

The staff are excellent and helpful and when you're told 'it's a big breakfast', you'd better believe it! Enough food to last through to the evening all freshly brought to the table.

Surprising gem in the heart of Vieja Havana. The staff are incredibly attentive and the breakfast will keep you going for the day! Very convenient for all locations in Vieja Havana.

Rose speaks very good eglish and was very thorough in welcoming us and giving details of the locale. There is no lift to the accommodation but the guys carry the luggage up so no need to worry. The hostal is but 4min walk to the plaza vieja where bars and restaurants are plenty. 4 mins walk to the ferry to the fortress and 7min walk to the Capitoli/park central where the large hotels and tourist bus stop can be found. Breakfast was plentiful with fruit meats cheese etc. Rooms cleaned every day. The free wifi is a bit temperamental however compared to other areas where we had to sit in the main square with an ETECSA card it was very welcome. Overal a very pleasant stay....thank you.

This small hotel is closer to a 5 star shared house with separate rooms with private bathrooms. For that reason, the whole place feels very homey and you dont get that careless feeling form it like the other hotels. For change, this place does feel upscale and stuff is more than helpful and friendly. They go way out of there way to help you out with whatever you need.

Great experience! It was the first time we booked a hostal and it was amazing! Staff is awesome! They made our life easy and comfy when for example booked our taxis and received us late at night. They also guaranteed that my eleven years old daughter had chocolate powder in the morning and also added some cupcakes in the breakfast to celebrate my husbands anniversary. By the way, the whole breakfast is delicious! Small details that made all the difference. To finalize, location is fantastic. Really close to most of the main attractions in Havana. Highly recommend!
