This is a really cool place. It seems that it was originally some kind of mansion, but restored into a hotel with modern amenities. There is also a shared, fully stocked kitchen. The owners are really nice and accommodating. We only stayed one night, but definitely worth a return trip.

Charming historic house. Comfy and clean rooms, very quiet location, close to the shops and restaurants. We have stayed here many times when visiting the pretty town of Winters.

Abbey House is a very charming facility. Clean and well kept, with a nice kitchen and great room available too. Our hosts left lots of fruit and snacks for us also. Easy 2- minute walk to the restaurants, wine tasting rooms and shops downtown.

We had a great visit at the Abbey House. Checkin was easy, the house was welcoming and so generously supplied with items. The bed was comfy and our room so quiet. It was our second stay. If you are reading this, you should definitely book a stay!

This was an unusual experience for me. Abbey house is a B&B. But at the same time it’s kind of self serve. I never ran into the proprietors while I was there. The kitchen was well stocked and I was able to make myself some French press coffee which made me so happy. It was very close to town and I could easily walk to dinner. My room was extremely comfortable and cozy. I would definitely stay there again.

We were in Winters moving my son and his wife to a new home! The Abbey House was a great retreat to return to after a hard day’s work! The bed was comfy and the snacks were tasty! Thanks!!

Weather was perfect. The house was very neat, clean, comfortable. We liked that location because it is very centrally located with in walking distance to restaurants, park and much more. The owners thought of everything a person needs when someone is away from home. We loved our stay and we will go back and stay there again.

This is a beautiful country inn with small town charm. Pam the host was a pleasure to work with and let us check in early. We were the only guests on the night we were there, so we had the house to ourselves. Very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this 5 bedroom house to families staying in the area.

The Inn and its owners were fabulous—they truly anticipate all of your needs and it was all so smooth and effortless. The property was so cute—they did a lovely restoration. I will definitely be back.

Abbey house is a quiet, clean, and lovely guesthouse on a quiet street in Winters, CA. Pam is communicative and accommodating. She even offered to mail me my phone charge chord that I left behind in the room! The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom was spacious. It have the feel of staying in someone's lovely home, and the care the owners have for the property and the guest experience is evident. I would highly recommend it and would certainly stay there again. I loved listening to local stations on the transistor radio they provide!

The house is beautiful! The outside is surrounded by lemon trees. The other guest were very nice. I hope I get to stay here again.

Had an overnight at the Abbey House Inn. No other guests but my friend and I. Absolutely loved our stay! Clean, great location and well-appointed. The kitchen was well stocked for an at home breakfast. I will definitely stay again!

We booked a one night stay for our overnighter in Winters at the Abbey House Inn. There was one room available, so we had the Bernhardt Suite with a double bed. There was no proprietor on site, but the emailed instructions we received before our visit were clear and helpful. Inside, there is an inviting sitting area downstairs with a nice selection of books. The kitchen is well equipped with a bit of options for a help yourself breakfast and snacks. Our room was clean, quaint and had a nice charm to it. Though the ceiling in the bathroom was angled, and yes I clearly saw that, I still must have smacked my head in it (lightly) more than a couple of times. For breakfast, we helped ourselves to hard boiled egg, English muffin, coffee and biscotti. Nobody else was downstairs when we were having breakfast, so ours a nice quiet time. We enjoyed looking at the photos of the property downstairs that depicted its restoration from the former state of the building. The property is within easy walking distance to the little downtown - literally, one block walk and you are there. A nice, clean and well-priced lodging option in a very enjoyable California small town. Highly recommended.

Well stocked kitchen for making your breakfast or a snack. Located just 2 blocks from the Main Street of Winters.

Love the outside area with the citrus trees. Hotel was very neat and clean. Fridge was well stocked. Furniture and atmosphere was very relaxing.
