Best beach hotel I've ever stayed at. Enough room for a family of 4 and easy with walking almost everywhere in Cape May. Close to the beach and restaurants...and a pool. More seats at said pool would be nice but that's a nitpick. Would definitely return.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again. It has a great location. We stepped out of our hotel and right onto Decatur St. and the heart of the shopping in Cape May. The pool and hot tub were very nice. The room we stayed in was small and in need of some repair, but the hotel manager gave us her card and said next time to call her and she would go over all the room options they have.

Seriously needs renovations not just lipstick. It's really noisy not just from outside but from the other rooms and the outside corridor. No thank you

We enjoyed our short stay at this hotel. It was in an excellent location. We parked the car and walked everywhere for our 3 night stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Hotel was good but the bed and chair in our room 228 was terrible. Could not get a good nights sleep. Location by the beach was fine.

Excellent location…great stay. Hotel staff is super friendly and very accommodating, rooms are ample enough, the bathrooms can use a little updating but it’s part of the old charm so no big deal. Great ocean view room and the balcony is pretty cool, just make sure you turn off the AC if you’re sitting out there because the exhaust might fry you. Walking distance to the street mall and steps to the beach. Restaurant food was great and pool was clean and found lounge chairs available every time so that’s a plus. Drinks from the bar were excellent…already planning our next stay!!!

Excellent location, right off the beach with easy access. We stayed 3 nights in the luxury suite. It is spacious and clean, with a balcony facing the pool and the beach. Sitting at balcony, particularly with a drink in hand, is very enjoyable. The panamamic ocean views are right in front of you. Hotel staffs at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Our check in was quick, with our room ready ahead of time. We probably will come back to stay again next year or the following.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a great location. It was nice to be able to arrive and park a little earlier than check in and use the pool or beach passes. The room was a good size and there was a nice balcony facing the pool and ocean. The beach bar had live music that you could hear from the balcony. There was also a little kitchenette that came in handy. I would stay here again.

Loved being right on the beach, and the hotel had a really nice outdoor bar that served a really nice breakfast. They also have lunch and dinner which we didnt try.

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was a mixed bag. Everyone is so nice at this hotel! And the location is ideal: every room really does have a view of the beach and it's within walking distance of many attractions. However. We unpacked our bags when we got there and within an hour everything was wet. Our clothes, the beds, the towels....even with the A/C going full blast it was very damp, like, tropically so. The hotel itself was probably just too old to battle the humidity. We would not be really dry again until we headed home. Their restaurant is called "The Barefoot Bar" and was actually pretty good! Good wings and cocktails in the evenings, and good breakfast, too. However, it's supposed to have indoor and outdoor seating for breakfast, but the inside was NEVER open for breakfast except on the day it stormed. This meant we had to sit outside in the sun before spending the day....outside in the sun. Lastly, the view of the beach also meant we had front row seats to the bar's singer just below our balcony making his way through Hotel California for the second time that day. Every day. Luckily, the entertainment didn't go on very late because, whether you liked ir or not, it was like dude was singing in our room. To be fair it seemed like most places in Cape May had someone doing this at their restaurants, too.

Room was great! 2nd floor overlooking ovean. I was worried with all the bars and places to eat it would be loud and chaotic like seaside but it was nothing like it. Front desk was helful and kind. Room was updated very clean and no smells! Central to everything!

My ONLY complaint is the bathroom. Could definitely use an update. Toilets are kinda low and shower/tub is dated. But we definitely would stay there again.

This hotel is wonderful! Yes, some aspects are dated, but the staff is excellent from check-in to cleaning service. The location is ideal, beachfront, restaurants, access to beautiful shops and homes along the side streets. The beach is clean and the sand soft. There is something for everyone. We loved our small suite room, with a balcony overlooking the main strand, beds comfortable and the linens fabulous! We appreciated the personal and friendly service, and learning the history of this great property. Highly recommend!

Room was ok. Smaller then expected Upon check-in we were told that they would provide beach passes and parking on the day of our departure. That did not happen. No beach tags or parking were provided on the day of departure

The hotel is obviously in a great location, on the beach in Cape May, and is mostly comfortable and accommodating. What really stood out was the friendly and helpful staff; questions for assistance were immediately answered, wait staff in the bar-restaurant were excellent, and receptionists were great. Would return.

Very relaxing with great view of the ocean. Easy to get to almost everything we wanted to do. Already planning next trip back.

Loved it...me and my sister and our husbands had so much fun in the pool area for hours...fun music fun crowd...it was awesome...yummy food and drink...and the manager and staff were awesome!

Spent a weekend here recently very clean. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly great location right on the beach rooms were large, comfortable balconies with rocking chair a great touch.
