We had a great stay at the Blair Villa and highly recommend! The hosts were so friendly and helpful, and the home felt like an authentic Scottish experience. It was convenient location - walkable to everything in town. The room was clean and comfy, and the hosts even left snacks/breakfast in the fridge for us each day. 5 stars!

Proprietors were lovely and welcoming. The inn was beautiful and unique. While small, the room was outfitted well with a generous tea set up and a modern bathroom. A healthy breakfast was provided. Good location just a few minutes walk from town.

Friendly host. Clean room with everything you need. Loved the decor. Ours was on the small side but as only staying 1 night was perfectly adequate. Was a lot closer to the town then we thought.

Our room was perfect! The Villa is only 2 blocks away from the shopping and dinning areas in Oban and we were able to walk to and from them easily. We also enjoyed the communal sitting area with views of the harbor and the Isle of Mull. This was our favorite accommodations throughout our 14 day stay.

Breakfast is a joke. They put cheap bread and fruit in the room fridge.

Five. Stars. Kudos to the owners of this property for running such a sophisticated and classy bed and breakfast of sorts. This is a stay we will never forget.

My wife and I had a lovely stay in Blair Villa. It has a great overlook of Oban, and the hotel itself was a wonderfully cozy atmosphere. Alec was very helpful.

Check in was nice and easy. There is parking on the street and we were lucky to find a space right in front of the B&B but there are only about 6 spots so you might end up parking a ways away and having to walk. Our room was quite small, to the point where we couldn't have our luggage open and move around the room. The breakfast is a to-go bag of yogurt, croissants and a couple snack bars, so if you are wanting a fresh made meal, this is not the place for you. The gentlemen who checked us in was helpful in pointing us to short cuts through the city, so that was nice. There was nothing wrong with this B&B, I just probably wouldn't stay here again.

The owners were friendly, warm, and helpful, making my stay not just comfortable but truly memorable. Although the room was on the smaller side, it was cozy, with an updated bathroom with hot water and admirable water pressure – a true luxury after a day of exploring Oban. The breakfast, a delightful assortment of yogurt, croissants, fruit, and granola bars, was conveniently delivered daily to the mini-fridge in my room. While it was not a hot breakfast, it was thoroughly satisfying and the perfect start to my mornings. The bed deserves a special mention for its comfort and the fluffiest pillows. This B&B's prime location in Oban is unbeatable, and while there is no designated parking, finding a free spot was surprisingly easy during my visit. For anyone considering a visit to Oban, I cannot recommend Blair Villa Bed and Breakfast highly enough. It truly represents what a B&B should be – charming, comfortable, and with a personal touch that makes your stay unforgettable. A prime location with easy access to everything Oban has to offer, this B&B is a must-stay. Looking forward to my next visit!

A nice warm bed, spacious en-suite and short walk into town.

Amazing little find! Lovely room, it was very cozy and the whole house is beautiful with so much character. Host was very kind and recommended us some good pubs! The bag breakfast in the morning was also very nice!

Everything was superb. We received a very warm welcome on arrival. The rooms were very clean and maintained to a very high standard. The continental breakfast in the mini fridge was excellent. Only a short walk down the hill to the main streets of Oban.

We had an excellent one night stay. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. It was all very warm and pleasant. The room was comfortable and clean. Parking was easy and it was a good location. We loved the furniture and artwork lovely to see. Highly recommend.

Beautiful home, lovely room with comfortable bed and good shower. Breakfast was disappointing, simply a paper bag with yogurt, croissants, fruit, cheese, granola bars. We still enjoyed our stay very much. The hosts were lovely but didn’t introduce themselves or seem to want to chat.

When arriving (earlier than check-in time), the landlord was welcoming us heartly and both booked rooms were ready to move in. Rooms were really clean and well equipped and lately renovated. Location perfect, 5 mins walk from centre of Oban. When leaving all went smoothly and the lovely owner pair was fairwelling us. I can recommend from all of my heart.

I was so grateful to find this absolute gem! Incredibly clean, comfortable, charming. Private bath in every room. Hosts so kind and accommodating (held my luggage on check-out day while i finished activities in town). Cold breakfast snacks in fridge. Tea/coffee and shortbread in room. Easy walk from rail station (though up a steep hill). I loved my time in Oban and this lovely place to stay was a big part.

Alec was a great host.

Stayed for two nights during a work trip, Alec was so welcoming and informative. The level of detail of the room and hotel amenity design, furniture, panoramic occasional room and quality was superb (we actually thought that we were away on a mini luxury retreat). Its rare to find accommodation where you feel like a guest that is truly welcomed and looked after. We cant wait to return to Oban and stay at the Blair Villa South again. Thanks
