We thought the room had an unpleasant smell, but that went away after opening the window and putting on the AC. The refrigerator did not work. It is close to train tracks, so noise from train rumbling by and train horn. As I love trains, that did not bother me, but be forewarned if it bothers you.

The staff were very helpful, and my stay was very quiet and peaceful. I would definitely recommend.

A bit overpriced for what it offers. Breakfast is VERY limited. Area around the hotel is not very nice.

Nice property, very nice management. The only thing we didn't care for were the coffees cups that spelled and tasted like Ajax (even after coffee was in it) and the hairdryer whivh was partially clean and partially dirty and sticky.

Driving down the street was not promising, small homes, a mobile park, an auto shop. But the place itself was fine. The owner/manager was at the desk and very friendly. He managed to establish personal contact, not just handling a check in. The room was great. It was more square than the typical motel room which is more rectangular and dominated by the bed. The floor was some sort of composition and looked much cleaner than carpeting. Everything in the room was clean and there was no smell. The design and furnishings were fairly minimalist, but did the job. A desk and small office chair, another chair which proved very comfortable for sitting and reading. The bed was firm. In the back a refrigerator, microwave, coffe maker and sink. Bathroom had tub with shower and toilet. It's a long time since I stayed in a cheap hotel and didn't feel there was one short coming.

Overall the hotel was quite good for the budget minded traveler at about 1/2 the price of the bigger hotel chains in the area. It is an older bungalow type setting so you basically enter the room from outside. Amenities were as stated with TV, fridge and microwave. The room was clean and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

This property is more like a budget motel. Staff was professional and polite. But definitely not ideal for me.

The service was excellent. The owners and staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean, updated and mattresses were supreme! Such a good night’s sleep. Bottles of water and snacks were set out in the room which was a nice treat. And the place was so quiet. I will definitely stay here again when I’m Turlock.

The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a mildew smell, probably from the shower curtain. There was a lot of road noise but mostly quiet after 10:00 PM. Overall, the hotel was fine.

Great place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay here. The owner was there to check us in himself and staff was very kind, helpful, and quick with things needed. This location makes you feel like you are staying on Old Hwy 66, but with like new rooms. The only two things I would suggest to make the stay even better: better pillows, thicker towels, and our room was not refreshed (fresh towels etc) while we were there. However staff was happy to give me fresh towel each night that we needed them. We stayed a total of 3 nights.

The owner of this hotel is charming, gracious & generous. His staff is likewise welcoming & helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed. The hotel is very clean & comfortable. I will stay there again.

We needed a place to stay for 1 night during our road trip. The location was convenient and easy to find. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful...they even have a cute little dog that greats you. We were missing our dog so it really made us happy. The hotel is older and could use some fixing up/upgrading...little stuff like new towels would be really nice. Everything was clean and our bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed our breakfast and were on our way. Easy, enjoyable stop.

Everything was perfect. Staff great(they even make your morning coffee and breakfast waffle), parking is very convenient. Just what you need when you don't need to pay for any extras like exercise room or swimming pool.

It’s a very nice quiet, small hotel. Staff was super friendly. I will stay there again, if I’m in that area.

Nice place for your money.

All was good, and a good value for the money. The EV charging was a selling point, though only a J1772 type connector. There was only one charger and the owner's wife's car was always in the spot, even when it was fully charged. We had to ask the front desk to move the car every time we needed to use the charger during the two days we were there. We forgot to ask that our room not be cleaned on the second day and there was no 'do not disturb' door hanger to display and they cleaned the room without asking them to do so - nice touch.

Very nice and clean and functional

Nice room, friendly staff, the neighbors were quite loud until a bit late at night and kept having cars coming and going until about 10:30.

I don’t know how long it was since the room as last occupied before I got there, but if I wasn’t so tired I would’ve found another place. 30 minutes after I checked in I had to kill 3 flies, in addition to the three dead ones I found on the window sill! I was taking a shower and I dropped the soap, and it cracked in half in the tub! Not once has that evwr happened to me! Also one of the pillows smelled musty like it hadn’t been washed in forever. I don’t know where all the good reviews came from but I know for sure they’re not accurate. When I was checking out and I told the receptionist about the problems she was completely unsympathetic. Never again.

Always reliably clean and quiet, Turlock Inn is a bargain. We stayed in the newer part across the street from the office. In spite of the nearby train tracks, the units are well sound-proofed. Between that and the comfortable beds, we slept very well. Turlock itself is a cute, up and coming town with lots of good restaurant choices.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The property was well kept and clean. Perfect for an overnight stay. The only thing I didn't realize when I booked the room was that the train runs very near to the property.

The accessible room we were in was still under construction. The bed was Very firm. My only complaint is hubby and I need a larger bed, We are larger people. Made for a rough sleep but I did pick hotel. It was a minute and a half from the fairgrounds where I need to be anyway. The management was wonderful.
