The breakfast from Theresa was amazing

Francesca was very friendly when we checked in. Teresa was also terrific when she served us the breakfast in the morning.

Teresa is amazing! She was so friendly and attentive! Our breakfasts were phenomenal. The property is gorgeous and there is so much within walking distance. This property is worth so much more than what we paid. We hope to stay there again. Grazie mille Teresa!😍

Great stay, the proximity to Herculaneum is outstanding! Such a great and unique hotel! It’s like staying in a palatial estate! The breakfast spread is amazing! Francesca’s suggestions were spot on and made our experience much more enjoyable! Theresa was so sweet and welcoming! We enjoyed our time here very much!

Wonderful hotel and associated restaurant. Great position for visiting the Herculaneum excavation but not great for transport infrastructure. Still well worth a visit. Staff really friendly and helpful.

Villa Durante is a must stay for those visiting the Naples area! With beautiful rooms filled with charcter, a great central location to Naples & Torre Del Greco, and above all the service is top class! Everyone was so welcoming, eager to help and went above and beyond! Teresa's homecooked breafast were fantastic! Truely a slice into the culture and well definitely be back!!

The accommodation was lovely and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was nice with fresh pastries and fruit. Naples as a destination was not so good. Very run down with not a great deal to do or see. We visited Pompeii which was our main goal and that was very interesting. Do not drive here as it will ruin your holiday. The drivers are totally bonkers and put you under a lot of pressure.

Villa Durante was easily one of the coolest places I've ever stayed. The historic accommodations were so well appointed - impeccably clean, comfortable, and just absolutely lovely. The breakfast served each morning was beautiful and delicious, and our hosts were friendly, attentive, and kind. It was a wonderful experience to stay there, and I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting the region.

We didn't catch any sleep. Very noisy neighbourhood. Room absolutely not soundproof. Accomodation to avoid if you expect to sleep.

The room was beautiful, but the facilities are lacking a bit. The hot water ran out while I was running a bath, and there was no extra toilet paper and things just felt kind of spare. But I think you are paying for the extraordinarily beautiful space, which is very much a treat to be in. I found check-in and check-out confusing, but feel like my confusion was no fault of theirs. Breakfast was nice and served by the loveliest, friendliest woman. It was not quite what is pictured on their website, though. Not much to do around it, but I was also there on a Monday when it seems a lot if closed. It was definitely a beautiful, beautiful space.

Relaxing stay in Villa Durante amazing room very spacious and clean. Staff we excellent very welcoming and helpful, . The Billa is not far from ercolano and close to bars and restaurants, I would highly recommend this Beautiful Villa

Theresa really made our stay! Despite the language barrier she went all out to ensure we were comfortable and looked after. Such a lovely friendly girl. Her breakfast was beautiful! In such incredible surrounding. This villa is stunning and so well preserved. Amazing library and artwork. Also, if you can, do eat in their restaurant across the road, Michelin recommended I believe and absolutely deserving of it.

Amazing place with one of the best places for sleep I had in my life. Breakfast with an amazing taste and served on the room. All the house is simply astonishing.

Villa Durante was wonderful. The room was modern where you want it, yet kept the old-world ambience. Our suite was very spacious and comfortable. The only downside was needing to carry our suitcases up the uneven stone staircase to the main hotel door.

The staff at the Villa Durante were outstanding! They were professional, friendly, helpful and made us feel so welcomed. The family suite was spectacular; the entire Villa was a testament to days gone by and made us feel like we had been transported back in time. A delicious breakfast was delivered to our room. The Villa is a very short walk to the Herculaneum and various restaurants and outdoor cafes. Staff at Villa Durante made a dinner reservation for us at Lo Re and our experience was superb! We highly recommend the Villa Durante and cannot say enough good things about the lovely ladies running this establishment.

The property was styled in an authentic Italian style. The rooms were very spacious and well appo. The communal areas were massive and beautiful in decorated. The staff were polite efficient and helpful.

Our short stay at villa Durante was a beautiful experience from start to finish. We arrived at a very humble front entrance and was treated by the lovely Valentina. She escorted us up the ancient stairwell to the front entrance of Villa Durante…the doors opened and the magic began!!!! I felt transported, back to the renaissance era. The beauty of this palazzo has to be experienced to be believed…. although the pictures on the website do a good job of sharing the exquisite rooms. The lovely and gracious Theresa, had our breakfast beautifully laid out for us at the dining table, at the very early am, as we requested. The breakfast was delightful and plentiful. The location…. steps from the Herculaneum ruins… and proximity to old Naples was perfect for our stay (20 min by car, local Transit makes it great location) In all… if you enjoy history and beauty Villa Durante, and their staff will not disappoint!! Teresa, Valentina and Maria were lovely hosts who made our stay extremely comfortable and pleasant. The accommodations were breathtakingly beautiful and comfortable.

We stayed here because we went to Ercolano Scavi. Only 2 restaurants within waling distance and the Pizza place was good. Room is better in person than even in pics. Some items in disarray and broken (like mirror, etc) but our overall stay was amazing. The Breakfast... no words. Blew us away with the amazing food and presentation.

Wonderful old mansion converted to a BnB. Apartments are incredibly spacious with multiple rooms and decorated and furnished with old world charm. Excellent breakfast delivered on a table to the room.

A beautiful 17th century villa converted into a three room B&B. Literally steps away from Herculaneum and across the street from a reasonably priced Michelin restaurant. Private parking inside an enclosed courtyard. Helpful staff. Overall a fabulous place, where would certainly stay again.

Villa Durante is a magical place to stay. The staff is extremely warm, welcoming, and helpful. The facilities are gorgeous and historical. I felt like royalty staying at the Villa! The Herculaneum ruins are a 5-minute walk, so this is the perfect place to stay if you are visiting the ruins. In addition, they arranged our transportation to Pompeii, which is only a short 20-minute drive from the property. It was such a pleasant stay here, I would highly recommend it for a one-of-a-kind experience!

The door is easy to open from outside, but not easy to lock from inside. The breakfast is good. You can request milk. Easy to park since it has own parking spots, maybe only two since there are two units. I am not sure. The staff is nice.

The receptionist was very helpful and guided us to a very good pizzeria in the area. The room was smaller than I thought it would be but was comfortable. We were glad that parking was available but tight. But I guess it’s normal for Italy. The breakfast with very nice and the staff was very thoughtful. Thanks for the hospitality.

This BnB was truly breath-taking. We loved our stay here and would return in a heartbeat. The breakfast was incredible and brought to our room each morning. It was also easy to explore the local area and walk to the next town. The staff were great and we would highly recommend staying here.

Amazing place to stay and enjoy a quieter part of Napoli. Great restaurants nearby that the ladies recommended for us. Room was gorgeous and great for 2 adults and 2 kids in the upstairs room. Thank you!

Within seconds of meeting Maurizio we knew this would be an excellent stay. The whole family are fantastic--very personable, eager to help any way they can, and incredibly accommodating. Breakfast was spectacular with endless choices, and the property! Oh my what a spectacular villa. We had the suite and the views of the bay at sunset, the incredible vaulted ceilings and the amazing furnishings and decor were absolutely stunning. I do hope it wil be available on our next trip, what a fantastic stay!!!

It was quite fun staying in a true Villa with common areas that were huge with soaring 20 foot high ceilings. Our review had a circular staircase leading to a loft bedroom.

This is a beautiful property. We stayed as a family of 4. The staff were amazing, breakfast very good and it’s a walk to Herculaneum. You need to call before you arrive to get in and have a parking place inside. We recommend Herculaneum before Pompeii as a visit so you see the better preserved first. For those that don’t mind a short drive and the real grande experience. The bedroom is fantastic.
