Where do I start with this hostel. I should have know to turn around from the moment I got out of the cab. There is no signage and at night it was scary to try and find the entrance. We were greeted by a nice gentleman who swiftly gave us our room keys but, when we opened our room doors we stood in the hallway in disbelief as we had to wait for a few spiders to make their way into the hallway. There is no AC so windows were left open prior to our arrival. Our room had so many bugs it was insane. The floor, fridge and bathroom looked as if the housekeeping staff went on strike weeks prior. The bathroom sink would not drain and the bathroom was so small, you could not even close the door while it was in use. Our flight was delayed and we did not arrive until 3am so our options of finding new accommodations for the night were impossible. Nevertheless we booked a hotel for the remainder of our stay immediately and left first thing in the morning forfeiting our 4 night reservation. Avoid this place if possible. I would sleep at the airport before I stayed another night here.

- some of the staff acted quite nonchalant - you couldn’t lock the shared bathroom and there were doors going from both rooms to the bathroom so the guests next door could wake in anytime, that made us have to go to the big shared toilet which was very dirty. And we also then had no where to shower. + the hostel was located perfect, nice street with places to eat and drink +you could leave your luggage before check in time It worked fine for Just on night when we wanted something cheap and located in the center so if you want that and aren’t too picky it’s fine

There's 2 sides to this place On one side its great value, big sized accommodation rooms right in the heart of Budapest..... On a great street for food! I personally didn't mind the unusual bathroom arrangements. BUT....... the rooms really need to be cleaned thoroughly, it's just basic hygiene!

Staff were very nice however the room was so dirty. We didn’t expect much as it was so cheap but we at least thought they would change the sheets. Covered in crumbs when we arrived...

The staff was generally kind, friendly, and helpful with things like finding my way around. However, some of the services (laundry) were more expensive than expected, and despite being in a good area of the city the building itself was in a terrible location with a large courtyard that echoed traffic, music, and conversations very loudly. There was also no attempt to discourage people smoking in the doorway of the building.

It’s a hostel, but not a clean one! Don’t expect to sleep much!

To start off, this is not hostel. It is a student dormitory that was given permission somehow somewhere to put a hostel sign in front of it. This is a student dormitory led by students who get paid for a summer position to work as the reception and cleaning crew. Don’t get me wrong- the location is great but the description of the “hostel” itself is highly misrepresented. The room was extremely filthy meaning hair in the shower, toilet paper on the floor, blood spots on the bed itself, bed sheets and pillows smelling like something died on it, and dirty floors.
