Very comfy motel with an amazing view of the Mississippi. Watching the sunrise over the river was great.

Unfortunately, we got there late and left early. But, we were pleasantly surprised at how clean and comfortable the room was. The views were awesome! The town was much closer and larger than we expected. Many restaurants close. Would definitely stay again!!

This is a nice little motel, with great views of the river. Grounds were nice, with amenities for guests to use. It's a nice quiet area and has great "curb appeal". No, there is no ice or soda machine, as some complained about. Not a huge deal, plan ahead or run down the hill to the station or store.
The room was small but clean, yet had some issues & was not quite finished. The corner cabinet was kind of a make shift cabinet/counter top. Counter top was not finished/correct size for the cabinet it was sitting on. So looked a little "off". There was also a carpet patch right in front of the bathroom, which didn't look right & was hard not to stumble/trip on it, when using the bathroom. There were stains all over the carpet as well, so that looked unappealing. Bed was okay, but not very comfortable to me. It was rather hard in my opinion.
I realize it's not a big chain motel/hotel, but just feel for price paid, the room should have been more finished & carpet could have been cleaner.
I tried to attach photos, but for some reason the app won't let me attach any. ☹️ Google review has some though.

We loved our stay at this hidden gem. Tucked away but close to everything. The view outside our door was stunning. Host and Hostess were the most friendly folks! We had a very nice chat sitting around the fire. Well maintained property and the price can’t be beat! Going for second visit this weekend.

We stayed in room 9. It is very small and has no view of the river, which all other rooms do.
Check in is easy, with a room and door code sent prior to check in.
Parking is close.
You can hear the road from the rooms.
The grassy area and fire pit are nice and offer a great view of the river.

Loved the view of the Mississippi River from high on a bluff. Plenty of birds, greenery, and tables and chairs outside to sit and enjoy it all.

They waived our pet fee 😊 wonderful views and cozy room.

Motel easy to find and ample parking. Was concerned initially that room did not face the river but even better I had a great grassy area outside my room for my dog. Staff was available for anything you needed. The property is well taken care of and room was extremely clean. Was excited to see that they had ice available. I didn’t participate in the bonfires every night, but it was great to be invited.

Stayed here 6 times now. Panoramic View is unbeatable. No Management or staff on site, never been a problem. Code for door. If U are a light sleeper beware busy train line right beneath the Motel,, It is on a bluff, train blows its horn all the way thru Guttenberg, There are lots of crossings without gates. I am light sleeper also. Just go back to sleep,

This place is truly a hidden gem I am an Iraq Combat Veteran who served in the Army with the 4th Infantry Division and 101st Airborne Division & all my PTSD went bye bye just being at this place. I didn’t want to leave. What a blessing it was to have found this little hidden spot. I highly recommend anyone & everyone come stay here awhile.

The motel is sparkling clean and situated on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River. It is basic and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is right on the Great River Road and Guttenberg is quaint and worth an overnight visit. Great to get away from the larger cities and enjoy this delightful little burg.

Great location , Guttenberg is super nice. I had never been there before and booked this place just based on the good reviews. The Motel just had a relaxing feel to it , room felt very clean and property was nice. Would go back again.

We took a little getaway to the driftless area. What a beautiful surprise for us here! So much history and beautiful scenery. Fun and friendly people. We made many stops at all the shops and lookouts and restaurants too.

The view over the Mississippi was fantastic! Kyle the owner met us outside our room when we checked in and was a great guy. He built a fire in the fire pit for us and we had a great time getting to know him.

This place is amazing if you like beautiful views. We are already planning our next weekend getaway to stay a few days. We got the king suite and it didn't disappoint.

Loved the view over the river. The fire pit was nice and the picnic table was nice to set at. I Loved hearing the birds. The rabbit just sat and looked at us. We will be back if ever back that way. Would love to stay there again

The whole experience was fantastic! Great communication with Kyle! The motel was very clean and comfortable. The view was amazing. I highly recommend Eagle View Motel. We will be returning to this motel for another visit.

Absolutely beautifully perfect!took my 16 yr granddaughter for a weekend reboot . Hit sone trails and was so blessed. Already book our next stay for the fall.

Truly awesome views. Nice and quiet area. Yes I even checked with a black light first thing when we got there and I vouch the room was clean. Owner was a super guy, gave us a free room upgrade as well. Definitely will be coming back.

Very clean and friendly place, beautiful view of the river, chairs to watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee in hand. Comfortable room, bed, coffee maker with plenty of coffee available.
