La Maestranza. Great place and very helpful and friendly staff. I chose this place because of the decor and I was not disappointed. Excellent!

La Maestranza is a very nice, beautiful and clean place! The people of Maestranza are very kind and allways there for any help you need! I also reccomend the breakfast! The lovely bar at La Maestranza is great to have a chat or a sit or to have a moment for yourself!

Unfortunately, because I rely, I have to write a poor review. Staff were fantastic. Anna, Roberto, Camilo…all great, very helpful,friendly. Contact prior to arrival was prompt, professional and helpful. My room ….the floor was dirty on arrival, the bathroom had many dead mosquitos, some squashed and the white bath mat was quite dirty. Towels were surprisingly small, old and threadbare, the face washer had a rust stain, unsurprising as the hand basin stand is full of rust. The liquid hand cleaner ran out first day and was not replaced. Soap holder and or a shelf in the shower was missing, having been broken off at some point. The bed head was broken where someone had lent back against it and the sheets were again old and threadbare. I requested a room clean on the second day, my sheets were changed but with more sheets that had patches where stains had been rubbed away until seethrough. The dirty bath mat remained despite the towel and washer being removed from the top of it where I had deliberately placed them so as everything would be picked up and replaced. The dead mosquitos, I counted eighteen, remained in the bathroom for the four days of my visit. On my last night, there was much yelling /loud talking inside the hostel for Forty minutes at 1-2.00Am. Unsure if it was the night manager who only works one night per week doing the yelling or whether he was allowing others to create so much noise. We had two rooms booked and both of us commented about it the next morning.

It is not serious that I waited first time 10 minutes and second time 25 minutes in the night, knocking on the entrance door, shouting… for someone to open for me!! It was scaring and unacceptable!!! I sent my first comment two days ago and nobody addressed the problem!!!

Excellente position, the staff was amazing and helped us with everything we needed!

The rooms are nice design, spacious. Good aircon. Bathrooms are good too. Good water pressure in shower. Wifi is good and unlike most casas actually works. You can walk to everywhere. Art Museum is great and close by. Old town sites are close. Obispa very close, good for restaurants, bars, live music, water, street seller biscuits and ice cream. Thanks to Ana and Robert for making the stay good. We enjoyed our chats.

The property is from 1931 i believe. Lovely style. Rooms are a good size and clean. Look lovely. Beds are comfy. Bathroom is spacious and nice too. Staff are very helpful and genuinely nice people. Very happy to be staying here.

The hotel is very nice, more then we expected. First of we felt ourselves very comfortable and save, the hotel’s stuff really take care about safeness… Everything what you need you can ask at the reception and they will really try to help… I would like to say thank you once again for all of them ❤️

Fantastic accommodation, closer to a boutique hotel than a hostal. Also fantastic service and would definitely recommend booking a tour via the hostal management.

The property is a lovely vintage building. The pics are a perfect representation of the hostal. The manager, Annalisse, was a ball of energy and took care of any request we have for arrangements. Though the location is convenient, there isn;t too much to do and see in the immediate area, but plenty within a short walk! Overall......we have a lovely stay

Beautiful property, great location. The incredible Anna at the front desk was so helpful and friendly and knowledgeable. Could be noisy in the morning, but that's a minor complaint.

When I walked through the door we both locked eyes and immediate Love happen it was a life changing experience, love is a beautiful thing we both know it. Yoly

Lovely bedrooms and great location. Only quibbles were that they said we needed two Old American cars to transfer 4 people from the airport when those cars can take 5 passengers each, and they gave an exchange rate of 80CUP to US$1 while you get 100CUP on the street.

Excelente service from the hostess, Yomara and Mario. The are very helpful, respectful people that went above and beyond their job to help provide comfort and information, showing the areas and solution for everything. Excellent service. A big thank you to all the workers

This hidden gem near the Catherine square was a haven. Beautifully designed with original features, amazing doors, reclaimed ironwork, so creative. Immaculate bathrooms. Dressing gowns. A serene black and white light filled atrium to sit and relax away from the hustle and bustle of Havana streets. Great location close to Malecon and there are great restaurantswith wi fi, just off the cathedral square. We returned here three times and can thoroughly recommend. The downside is no wi fi.

The place and the room are beautiful, its very central and walkable from here, the hosts are really friendly, nice people, they helped us on so many things about havana and more! Thanks so much for this we will come back for sure!

The pictures really don't do it justice. This place is amazing and in the best location! The staff takes the time to make sure your stay is perfect and help you with whatever you need. Also, the breakfast is delicious and literally steps from your room. Highly recommend! A special shoutout to Reydo who really elevated our experience here! He bent over backwards to help us on multiple occasions.
