They were very nice people. Breakfast was great! The pool was small and older. All in all it was a pleasant surprise and a nice nights stay. Close to the airport without being noisy. And prices were great!

I know I'm a few months late with my review. First time my cousin and I visited the Bahamas. I must say the hotel staff and overall friendliness of the citizens of the Island were great! I can't wait to come back and I will definitely reserve a room at the beautiful cozy friendly place. The beach was also beautiful and very close we were able to walk and the breakfast served was wonderful. Thank you for being a part of making our first time and stay a wonderful experience. Again my apologies for the super late review.

The room I stayed is rather small, doesn’t even have a table for simple work. Bath room is tiny, and had an unpleasant smell. Sink is so small that I cannot even put a cup on the side. Guests next door were rather loud, woke me up 2 AM in the morning. Shuttle to airport is not cheap at $20

We needed a place to stay for one night with an early morning flight. It was close to the airport and the shuttle to and from was convenient. The staff was excellent and the bed was comfortable. The local beach was an easy walk away and had a beach bar with food service. It was everything we needed.

This was such a great find to stay at! Staff is super nice and answered any questions I had. Had great food recommendations within about a 10 minute walk. There are no sidewalks so please be mindful of traffic. The beach entry was a little scary but I found my way and it opened up to a beautiful oasis. I love how quaint this B&B is. It feels so personal and like home! So glad I stayed here

Didn’t like they charged me in excess of the price published on Expedia & no way to cancel & modify dates booked

I can say I booked the B&B with normal expectations. I travel often to Nassau so I'm always looking to good places to stay at good prices. Unfortunately this property is not one that I will recommend. The check-in process was a quick process. I booked prepaid so only a small charge for incidentals was done. Ok.vI was informed that breakfast is served free between 7am and 10am and that was it. No more info. The room was outdated and looks old. Bed was ok with clean sheets. In the bathroom the water supply was intermittent and one day we were completely without water. The drain on the sink was leaking to the floor. The Shower was ok but drain clogged easily. The 1st. morning I went for breakfast at 7:30and nobody was in the area. Wait and call but nobody showed up. Returned at 8 and wait until 8:30 and nobody showed up. There was another guest waiting but I can't wait longer so I left and have breakfast in another place. Later on my return at evening I asked what happened and lady told me she didn't know about nobody was there at breakfast. Next morning went for breakfast and the lady came to take my order. From the menú I selected the bagel with eggs and sausage. To my surprise what came was 1 bagel and 1egg scrambled. I asked if this is normal serving portions and lady said that's what management order. Imagine a big guy like me with a 1 egg scramble and 1 bagel breakfast. I can't recommend this place to anyone. Only good thing is close to airport location and good AC.

My fiancé and I had a quick 1 day stay in the Golden Palms. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and air conditioned, the pool area was beautiful, the breakfast was good and communication to get the airport shuttle and check in and check out was very simple and quick. There are a couple of places to eat within walking distance and if you want to go in town you can catch the bus for $2 right outside the gate. This was the perfect place for us and we can’t wait to come back!

The staff & people were so amazing

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Just a warning that there are multiple floor transitions and little steps of various heights everywhere. Not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. Tiles and ramp at front entry inside are very slippery and dangerous. Quick access to and from airport which is great for a turnover.

Close to the love beach, but far from the center . You can hear the neighbors, but the staff is helpful.

Staff need to be more pleasant and welcoming. ALL. not one or 2, but ALL. The gardener was so nice. The property needs a male staff to lift guests' suitcases to their rooms. Steps and lack of elevator are not acceptable. The best service I love is to feel welcome and pleasant. The gardens need to be redone. The property needs to have transportation to downtown at a fee, maybe at a set time. The lack of pleasantness scares me and that is a turn-off for me. Staff faces are cold and not inviting. There is a lack of awareness of customer service overall. Services are delivered, YES, but they lack warmth.

There was a hidden charge; the room was extremely small; microwave in room not working; closet door broken; cupboard couldn't open because handles broken /missing and very worn; luke warm water from shower (couldn't turn all the way); lots of patch work in room... It was shocking that "this room" was rented at a cost almost $200 for just one night. Very, very disappointed!

It was an ok stay, small rooms, close to the airport. Be aware they charge $20 for a 6 min drive to the airport for 2 people plus an additional $3 for 3rd and every additional person. Would still recommend because it is way more cheap than the rest of the hotels around the area

People are very nice! 5-star to them! There are few issues with the property: 1.The location of this property is 15 minutes from downtown which was very inconvenient. We had to get a car or take a taxi (hard to find, takes forever). 2. The room is sandy even though its cleaned. You can't walk barefoot. 3. The breakfast offered is very limited everyday.

Very expensive for what is provided.

This place is a ripoff. Our flight came in late at 10 pm and we had to take a cab because the hotel shuttle apparently shuts down in the night. The cab driver was rude and obnoxious. Charged us $30 to bring us here. The reception was a single, unfriendly person who sat behind a darkly lit desk. Do not ever book this place.

This was a super great option staying close to the airport for the night before heading out to another island. It’s within walking distance to a number of great restaurants, the staff was super friendly and accommodating, the room was clean, and just a great overall experience. It’s also, the cheapest thing on the island and People who complain about stuff seem to not understand how things work and have ridiculous expectations. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Very good place

Staff yelling up and down to each other since 7am. Very limited on service and taxi needed to go everywhere. No sidewalks for walking. However, Staff is friendly. Room was clean and AC was cold.

This is a place unlike any other. It is like a hotel and B & B, there is a small staff, godd service, convenient location, and old style Bahamas architecture. I plan to visit here everytime I go to Nassau
