Mario is amazing! Helped us with all directions and took good care of us the whole trip. He helped us with internet and cool tips. Location is the best. Closed to anything you wanna see in Havana Vieja. We actually haven’t even used car at all.

Great casa and would highly recommend staying here if your visiting Havana. Perfect location in Old Town, close to eateries and so much to see around it. The host, Mario, was great and really helpful with the questions we had - couldn’t have asked for more!!

Recently we stayed at Casa Castellon for two days. The casa consists of a flat with three rooms for guests and shared dining area, kitchen, and balcony. Filtered water is freely available. Our room was sufficiently spacious and clean with good AC, and good wifi available for a minimal fee. It was interesting to experience staying in a setting similar to the homes of many urban Cubans. Mario and his wife are friendly hosts who kindly provided us with whatever information we needed to make the most of our stay in Havana. We were glad to have ordered the optional breakfast as it included generous portions and nice coffee. The location is convenient with all the sights of the old city within easy walking distance.

This is a great property. Mario and Kenia are great hosts, and keep a beautiful flat. Bedrooms are nicely air-conditioned. Breakfast was so welcome and well worth including. Well located, very close to many of Havana's highlights.

Location: just outside Havana Vieja, so advantages of being in the centre without its disadvantages. Most sights such as Capitol, Paseo de Prado, Malecon, Havana Vieja squares - accessible on foot. We stayed in 3 bedroom apartment, each bedroom comes with small bathroom and can be locked for private use, there is a common dining room where breakfasts are served, a kitchen and a balcony. You can also rent the whole apartment for yourself. Bedrooms are just big enough, simple furnitured and decent with storage places, located on the quieter side of the apartment. Mario the host speaks fluent English and is ready to help in e.g. ordering a decent taxi. Breakfasts are available (seasonal fruits, squeezed juice, buns, butter, cheese, tea/coffee), fridge is stocked with filtered water. Tip to do a good deed: given the current economic crisis in Cuba, ask the host Mario before arrival if there's something you can bring with you for him.

Fab location in Old Havana town & near waterfront. Mario is an excellent host, super helpful, speaks amazing English, happy to help & arrange anything. Nice room & bathroom in a large flat with kitchen, lounge diner & balcony, all very clean. There's a money safe in each room which is handy. You can be completely independent there without intruding into family or others stay. No meals offered but loads of nearby restaurants. Would strongly recommended, really excellent value for money. Mario at Casa Castellon is an amazing man. he is kind, fluent in English and goes a long way to help you. He answers messages 24/7, lives downstairs and always available and in a troubled situation at Cuba he helped us a lot. the place has an excellent location, it is clean and in a nice neighbourhood. But the best about this place is Mario himself.

Great place, excellent location, and fabulous hostess. She helped us very much, and provided a good map with many landmarks. She helped us plan our day, and was very friendly. She speaks wonderful english too! Best part for me was the ample and delicious breakfast with American style coffee!!! I highly recommend this place. We also stayed in another air BnB, but this one was the best. We felt very much at home, but had our privacy. Excellent breakfast!
