Great location for Matosinhos beach and the "seafood street", short walk from the Matosinhos Sul metro stop. Pool and spa facilities were great, room was excellent. Really nothing I could fault or offer to improve, and at a good price

Very nice hotel, very good room, only they portret a fastastic swimming pool that only opens at 11 am ... so no chance in a swim... do not know why this is. other negative point is the parking, it is under the hotel but when you arrive you can not go up, you must check in first, and also for payment you can not do this at the reception, and need to pay cash at the machine in the garage, no credit card accepted, i find these 2 issue negative for this hotel, especially if the swimming pool is their visit card. for the rest the hotel is ok.

Great service, this is the best welcoming I’ve ever had, the staff was so nice and friendly, the buffet was super variable and tasty and even have a local delicacy section, rooms were super clean and the mattress was spectacular, we slept like royalty, near to the beach and the two best restaurants in the area, just 2 min from the bus stop to Porto and also the yellow line tour bus crosses in front of the hotel.

Lovely and very accessible to beach and restaurants . Staff very pleasant and helpful.

I booked this hotel to culminate my Camino de Santiago hike. I was hoping to finally relax, rejuvenate and get a massage before heading home. When I got to the room, I discovered I was assigned a wheelchair accessible room. I am clearly not disabled. I was not informed of this assignment, so I was genuinely surprised when I walked in the room. It seemed a bit underhanded. It was later explained to me that they were completely booked, and they were sorry. I was in high spirits after the Camino, so I tried to be positive. I got really annoyed though, trying to take a shower. Because this was a wheelchair accessible room, the shower was a handheld only, holder mounted at waist level, so there was no way to stand under the shower, and there was nothing to prevent water from splashing, so water spilled ALL over the ENTIRE bathroom floor, constituting a major slipping hazard. This really put a damper on my stay. I reserved and paid for a room 3 months in advance, and I checked in fairly early in the day. It’s not like I rolled in at midnight without a reservation, so I don’t understand why my accommodation was downgraded. Next morning when checking out, I was told I should have said something, and they would have found me a better room. Seriously?! You said you were completely booked up! That made me really angry. This was the most expensive hotel out of 5 that I booked on my entire trip to Portugal and Spain, and this was the only disappointing experience I’ve had.

We booked this one for our last day because it was near the airport but wow, were we surprised! This was an outstandingly beautiful hotel. Top notch everything. We booked a regular room with a little extra space and couldn't believe how roomy it was. The walk in shower was double the size of anything else we stayed in at other Portuguese hotels. We got a huge balcony. It's in a gorgeous walkable safe ritzy area right near the beach. Everything was close. Excellent restaurants all around. Very friendly, helpful staff. Exceptionally clean. Nice neighborhood. And the price was very, very budget friendly. I've made a note to stay here on our future visits to Porto.

Bruno & Rafael were excellent. Polite, professional. Unfortunately there wasn’t an early check in (but that’s hardly their problem) they did acknowledge the room upgrade, and a bottle of wine. Both were exceptional, endearing and helpful. Exceptional staff. The hotel is a bit off the city center. The mandatory cap for the swimming pool is a bit strange. The gym was decent. Overall very friendly staff, if you want the beach this is the place for you. Tons of seafood restaurants. Having a concierge to help book tours, food tours would have been great. However, Bruno & Rafael were phenomenal.

The staff was very pleasent. We had two rooms. Very helpful, and always there for our needs.

Hotel was amazing - exactly like the picture. Location is perfect if you want to be by the beach and still close enough to the city to explore. Staff were AMAZING… reception staff and specifically Sofia that works in the spa area - loveliest! Top customer service which I value immensely.

The room was booked as a double, when in fact it was two singles pushed together, which is not a double, when will hotels realise this !

Staff forgot 2 wake up calls, offered to order a taxi which they did not do and offered a shuttle that dropped us off in arrivals and not departures.

I stayed for a week as a solo female traveller. Even before arriving, I had been in communication with the front desk team (Raquel) who very kindly provided a room upgrade and complimentary bottle of wine as part of my Expedia Gold member status. On arrival, the reception team were very welcoming- I had excellent help from all of them including Raquel, Patricia, Rafael and Bruno. The cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional- in all communal areas such as hotel lobby, spa, gym, pool and in the room. The housekeeping service did a tremendous job! I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast (perhaps more hot vegetarian options would be good) and the room service I ordered. I enjoyed using the gym and swimming pool which were very clean and to a high standard. Excellent and exceptional hotel. I will be back! Thanks to the team!

So great staff and supporting all our wishes. So many nice places to eat and high quality of fish. Walking and enjoying the beach were also great.

Modern hotel in an character suburb. Close to the beach, bus and Resturant’s. Great staff all over. The pool is lovely (the engineering is next level). Breakfast is very good. All over a wonderful place to stay. Good to know…. The internet is almost worthless, due to restrictions ie, no What’s App, Google Maps, News etc The pool requires a cap to be worn, so not nice, which they add to your bill The lounge, although comfortable, is not cosy to enjoy a drink and not optimal for doing work.
