The only downside is that no heated rooms have no electrical outlets, and at times, the places to charge the phones were busy or packed, so I couldn't charge as often.

Remember this is camping and not your typical hotel, so be prepared. We were in a heated tent which took a long time to heat up specially since the temperature in the valley was subzero all day. The reception did give us extra wool blankets so no complaints there.
The view from the campsite of the various peaks is what makes the stay worth it. You will 5 min walk from some of the easy to moderate trails, so you can enjoy every moment of your stay.
The restrooms and showers are shared but clean. Food, groceries, souvenirs and even mountain gear can be purchased from the shops on campus for a reasonable price.

Great for glamping. Super accessible for hikes nearby in the National Park. Good food options in Curry Village but there could be a queue for the bathroom and you know how shared toilets could get dirty especially around the busy times in the morning.

Tent cabins need electrical outlets.

Best spot to stay in Yosemite for convenience to go around Y village, hiking spots, etc.
What needs to improve though regarding my expedia booking, we were not able to upgrade to a heated tent or cabin even though there were available units. Upon inquiry at front desk, we were told since we book thru Expedia and not direct basically there's no upgrade. It would be a new booking. There's a disconnect here.

All tents should most definitely have a heater without making a reservation for one. We didnt know and it was extremely cold. We were soaking wet and a heater would have made a huge difference. Other than that, it was a cool tent room.

It was cold at night. Im glad I brought my sleeping bag. Otherwise, it was a very good experience. I would stay there again.

Dining options were good But check-in was a nightmare at 4:45 I arrived, and three times they asked me to come back in a half an hour the third time I said I’ll just wait here and then they actually started to make calls Checking to see if it had been cleaned then they weren’t sure if it was even available both people behind the counter we’re going out of the room making calls. Finally, they said one of the cleaning staff was verifying if it had been clean and Wood, gchecking to see if it had been cleaned then they weren’t sure if it was even available both people behind the counter we’re going out of the room making calls. Finally they said one of the cleaning staff was verifying if it had been cleaned and would come up. at 6:15 I got the key and asked if I could have a later check out for the inconvenience and the lady said I don’t make the rules. I just enforce them. it was too late to go on a short hike

Curry village in the heart of Yosemite valley is great for staying and visiting the places in the Yosemite area

Tents are decent, cleanliness could be better, like condition of sheets and pillow covers wasn’t great, cobwebs on the tent roof support). Staff at the front desk was hit or miss. Nicole was awesome, other young lady didn’t have a clue and wasn’t willing to listen either.
Super convenient in terms of food, shuttle, parking, etc.

Just cleaning up after winter so the property wasn’t sharp and some things were not open.—the staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly

no employees checking the area. There is two tents behind us that sound like they have 15 people/kids in them jumping/screaming all night long. I went to the bathroom about 60 yards away and could still hear them. So if they had anyone walking around randomly they would hear it. So much for a relaxing quiet night in the park. Would not recommend unless you are not looking for peace and quiet.

The heated tent was A good mediator in comfort between a hotel and a tent. Feels like camping but a little more comfortable.

I loved my stay at Curry Village, we stayed in the heated canvas tents. In general we loved everything about the stay however it can get a bit louder than even camping sites as the canvas tents are in close proximity and you can pick up the noise from other guests. They do offer ear plugs at the front desk, but even then it can get a little loud. The location, dining options, and ability to stay cozy during the winter can't be beat though!

Easy check in. The heater kept us warm in the winter. Going back for sure!

Absolutely loved the location and proximity to things we wanted to see. The heated tent is definitely the way to go during the chilly nights of winter. The Valley bus stop was literally right next to our tent site, which made it so easy to explore the park. Parking was hard to find due to the last weekend of firefall park reservations, but I would imagine is only an issue during peak times at the park.

Loved the wall heater keeping the room warm in 25 degree weather, and doubled as a shoe dryer for my snow shoes. Just sit them on the ledge above the heater and not directly on it. Place was as clean as it gets for being a yurt. Yes the floor had some dirt on it, but if you want a room that is pristine then book a hotel at the lodge for $150 more. Beds were comfortable with high-loft plush pillows. My tent was pretty close to the bathrooms which were very well maintained with hot showers and little dressing areas within the same cubby as the shower for privacy. Showers were well-stocked with nice smelling soap and had 2 2-finger hooks to hang clothes, towels, and shower caddies. You simply can’t beat the location being next to the Happy Isles station, and there are about 20 EV chargers being installed near the reception for us EV drivers who stress about having enough charge to get out of the valley after your stay. The village has a nice homely feel full of friendly faces at the stores and restaurants. I’d highly suggest bringing a luggage dolly of some kind; several people had those collapsible beach wagons to cart their supplies from the car to the tent. I forgot a lock to put on the bear food box, but nobody stole my PB and J sandwich.

Stayed for just one night in one of the cabins in Curry Village. The cabin is fine - clean, comfortable and of course fantastic location in the heart of Yosemite National Park. Dining and shopping options are of course limited and are of average quality and high price. The accommodation itself if very highly priced relative to its quality. But when all said and done the location is the key - being in the middle of the park versus a 45 minute drive from other options outside of the park is a massive advantage.

paid for heated tents. one of the tents did NOT have a functional heater so we all had to huddle in one tent with some sleeping on the floor. Not ideal. Only stayed one night so no opportunity to rectify the situation.

WIfi was very slow. There is no mobile data signal around. So, as we came here to visit nearby places, it took us alot time to get connected to wifi mutliple times and then search for some last minute nearby places info. We got the room 414, there was noise even after 10pm(Silent Hours) from room 415. I could hear them speak loud, laugh, open and close the food locker loudly and so on. We did not expect this to happen.

This was such a lovely stay! We were in a heated tent and had such a fun time, it felt like camp. I think if you go in with the open mind that it’s essentially camping in a simple tent, you’ll be really pleased with your experience. We brought lots of blankets and that was incredibly helpful for sleeping in chilly nights, even with the heater, and it felt very cozy. The shower houses were warm and clean, and were much nicer than other showers I’ve experienced while camping. We made a lot of our own food, but enjoyed the smashburgers from the bar one evening and those were great. The location is unbeatable and worth any rustic-ness. I would absolutely recommend and stay again!

Old beat down tents. Heating did not work. Room did not get above 50F - I guess that beats freezing.
