This place will do if you just need to sleep, but it is not very nice. Some of the decorations in the room are just plain falling apart and need to leave this world behind. I had asked the lady in the front for some towels and I watched her walk into a room and pick up a towel off the floor.....and yes that is the towel she brought me. The trip was really good overall..so no big deal, but if you want to feel like you are staying somewhere nice....this is not the place.

This place is not safe and should removed from your website. Went to check in and left the property. Not kid friendly drug addicts hanging around property. Room has roaches everything was dirty and dingy …. It’s also a biker club hang out…… please refund me my money!

Booked a suite paid for a suite got there and it was no suite. Instead it was a basic room with 2 double beds. No kitchen and no separate sleeping area. The owner refunded me one night back and told me i could stay the entire weekend but we decided to leave the next day because it was sketchy. there were alot of weird drunk people who actually live there. It is no retreat this is a roadside motel. Dirty, smelly, uncomfortable beds, roaches,mold on the shower curtain, stained towels. I wouldnt stay here for free thats how bad it was. Definitely not what was shown in the pictures. I really should of got all my money back but it is what it is i wont book with hotels.com again. I got cat fished lmao the pool was ok it was actually the only good thing about the property.

Horrible! They SOLD the room I reserved, blamed Expedia, put us in a small, disgusting room with a HORRIBLE BED! This motel should be condemned! We paid cash for 1 night, left the next morning and they STILL CHARGED my card for 2 nights the next day, RUINING our vacation! Th

Was there the week of July 4th. We were immediately welcomed by Cindy with an easy check in and a quick tour. Convenient location for us wanting to go to several different beaches in the area. Enjoyed our time visiting FL, and lounging by the pool most every day. We were invited to a cookout by Cindy celebrating on the 4th. We will visit there again. Thanks so much!

The property manager on staff was excellent and accomadating---we had reserved 3 rooms with everyone coming at different times. It was quiet and clean (inside and outside). It was close to the beach, which is why we chose this place. Would stay again.

We came for a staycation for friends birthday and had a great time. The pool and people were great. We will stay again.

Looks nothing like pictures, name isn’t the same it’s called Nokomis Inn & Suites,there was roaches and big termites flying in the room, furniture (table,bed,lil dresser) falling apart, window ac unit not central ac, one window did not close all the way or lock, floors were dirty, small fridge didn’t get cold had to use cooler with ice.

It was really close to the beach and a lot of the activities that we were doing it was less than 30 minutes away the only thing was it needs to be upgraded a little maintenance .And it needs new bedding it says non-smoking but are blankets was full of cigarette holes it was I will stay again. really good price

The owner of this property (Cindy) is wonderful and was so kind, caring and generous during my entire stay. She allowed me to check out later so I wouldn’t have to go sit at the airport for the entire day. The sincerity went a long way!

I was disapointed to see a place that could be precious with so many deficiencies. I love that is so close to the beautiful Nokomis Beach and with so many convenient business around. Details like professional cleaning is needed. Special atention to the door closing system, the electric outlets, the tv cables, the couch and microwave were useless due to poor cleaning, the floor in general was dirty in the room, I felt like the pictures shown in the advertising is from a time when it was clean and well maintened. There are many small not costly imrovements they can do that would mean a lot and will make them a great place.

We love staying here. It's the perfect distance to the beach and a great place to hang out all day. Cindy, the manager, is so nice and helpful. She was available to answer any questions we had and made the check in process super quick. We have stayed hereany times and will again! Keep up the great work.

Property has termites

There are black stains in the shower and the room smelled like cigarettes. It was very uncomfortable to stay in so we decided to just leave..

The property was nasty. The pool was shut down so to health department. People were swimming in poor anyways with pit bull dog in the pool. People live in these rooms and have dogs which bark all day and night. Parking sucks not enough. Towels were far and few. If I was Expedia I'd take this place off your website!!!! Dont stay here run and run fast

It's a simple place to stay but clean and the staff are very nice. The location is good, I recommend it.

Old Florida great motel

I was impressed with everything sbout this property, the laid back easy feeling of the place with the way it is set up. But it was Miss Cindy and staff that made it feel like home, she was always kind and helpful. I will be going back again

You get what you pay for. I needed inexpensive place to crash for the night. It worked.

The actual room was very nice. It looked newly redone and was clean and very spacious. However the property itself was not at all what the pictures showed. They did have what was in the pictures, however it was very run down and nothing like described.

Thought would be a charming little motel. However, the linens lacked the smell and feel of freshness. My top sheet was a different color than my fitted sheet , never have had that experience at a hotel. Pillow cases didn’t match sheets either . The whites were dingy . Floors felt tacky , laminate planks . Hair ball (not ours) in shower. Booked queen bed with sofa too , ended up in double bed room and no sofa. Blinds didn’t close all the way, felt that people could see in if wanted to, lack of privacy.

I grew up in Laurel (right next to Nokomis) and although I've been gone for over 40years, I guess this place has always been here. It was delightful and quiet. The room was equipped with small fridge and microwave and quite spacious. Everything was clean and the check in process was easy and simple.

I struggle with this review because the hostess was very polite, friendly, and accommodating. She was amazing in everyway possible. There is no "My Sarasota Getaway" it is actually "Nokomis Inn" and the property is in rough shape. Sink was missing drain plug, bathroom fan made banging noise, bathroom window sealed with tissue paper, bathroom light hanging from the ceiling. There were no bugs, which I don't understand because the room door didn't have any weather stripping and could see 1/4 inch gaps around it at night from the light coming through. Bathroom door didn't close properly and a bright light shined in from the back of the building on the other side with no way to block it out. The pool and the area around it not that nice or clean, even the kids wouldn't go near it. The property is not as pictured. It's basically a rundown roadside motel.

This bed mattress is caved in on one side . Slopes so far much I slept on a tilt! Otherwise it seems clean little motel feel. The staff is very kind.
