Baxter inn was a good “just for the night” hotel idk if i would stay here for longer. It had a strange smell. Almost like this place has been kept in a bottle type of smell.
The sheets did have some stains on them.
The shower was nice! I enjoyed the shower. Parking was easy and it was easy to find. The staff was very friendly

this hotel is so uncomfortable, in room there is only 1 electric outlet so when I complain they provide 1 extension cord, also there isn't hair dryer, the bathing towel is insufficient, the blanket is plastic so doesn't soft, there isn't sugar for coffee, only there are artificial sugar, in brief this is the worst hotel I have been stayed

Loved the room with 3 beds (and a bonus pullout in the couch we hadn't expected!) - were just there for a quick stopover on a road trip, but it was great for our needs

Reception at front desk was very welcoming. Despite the general run down look of the town, the hotel property displayed a positive upkeep. With this in mind, the stay was good value for money

staff was the only good yhing. the rest was not. the bed was not a queen like listed or booked. the room was dirty dusty and smelled no hot water to the shower the window had no lock the screen was inside behind the chair (room was ground floor so easy access) the bed was like sleeping in plywood. I was very disappointed.

The Wifi was not adequate. The signal got weaker as you walked down the hall. At the distance my room was from the office, the signal could not even be consistently found.

the motel smelled like smoke everywhere with some parts smelling like cleaning chemicals trying to cover up the smoke smell. Very dated and most of the appliances in the room didn't work or were in a state of disrepair. I would recommend driving to Joplin and getting a better hotel room there.

The motel was having their roof replaced, and we didn't have TV for a few hours after checking in. We did check in early, so probably most of the guests had TV by the time they arrived. It was because the roofers had to remove the satellite dish then replace it.

I stayed for a week and would do so again. It's an older facility which I prefer when travelling because the sound is better dampened by the construction materials and the heavier doors. Paul was mostly at the desk, and he is the epitome of customer satisfaction. Great job to everyone there!

This hotel just proves that you get what you pay for. At $70 per night I was not expecting three stars, but the mold smell in the room and poor bathroom was below my expectations.

The room smelled funny..Parking wasn’t that great..The beds were small..I however would stay here again the only contact I had with staff was when I checked in and he was a super nice guy..rooms were clean I booked two rooms and they put them side by side so that was nice..I did not eat the breakfast either morning so can’t say anything about it. Food places are not that far from the Inn.
