Excellent staff, very sexy room, gorgeous building. Area around the hotel was beautiful and safe. Many options of restaurants and cafes in walking distance. Loved it!

Loved the friendly staff at the reception and cleaning lady, as well as the restaurant staff and the food was amazing too! The small terrace was an extra touch, the bed was very comfortable and bathtub was beautiful and the water was hot and had good pressure. And the neighborhood was quiet and had great restaurants within walking distance.

I loved this boutique hotel. The staff was fantastic and their security was top notch. I felt very safe. The rooms where clean and cozy. The breakfast was delicious.

We had an amazing time! Everyone was so friendly and so helpful. Shout out to Hugo for helping us to upgrade our room and helping us to book massages and a facial. The massage was the best I’ve ever had!. The complimentary breakfast was so good and even Security was awesome! We will Definitely stay here again next year!!!

Really cool vibe for a hotel and nice having the attached coffee house restaurant. Door locks were not working while we were there but the staff were great in letting you in whenever you need.

What a lovely boutique hotel. We had an amazing stay for my wife’s 40th celebration. Staff was accommodating and friendly. The breakfast as also very delicious. Would love to stay again.

We loved everything. The whole staff was friendly and so helpful especially Leticia. Our room was lovely and we really appreciated enjoying coffee out on our terrace every morning. I would definitely encourage anyone to stay at the Gala.

I loved staying at The Gala Boutique Hotel! The staff was beyond friendly and the rooms are very unique and very chic! The location is very very safe and the area extremely walkable. I will be going back there to stay anytime I go to Guadalajara!! I recommend this place to any traveler who might be unsure of where to stay. It is conveniently located and easy to get around Guadalajara from there.

This hotel was very nice overall. The room was a bit too small, but still ok. Staff made us feel very welcome and were all super nice and helpful.
Only downside was that the room was close to the restaurant/bar and for some reason they decided to blast music around 1 am and woke us up. But they turned it down when we complained.
My advice is to get one of the bigger rooms, if you can afford it. But the price of the small one was already a bit steep, considering there are plenty of cheaper options in Guadalajara. I would still say the uniqueness of this hotel and the amazing walkable neighbourhood was still worth the price.

This was my second trip to Gala Boutique Hotel. I will be headed there again soon. The location could not be more convenient, The staff is lovely and so helpful. The hotel itself is stunning and seeing the 100 year old buildings or homes turned into hotels so super cool. The beds are extremely comfortable and the over all look is just hip and chic. As a bonus there is a plunge pool!! I would recommend this hotel to anyone wondering if it might be the place for them while in Guadalajara.

Nice, clean, and historical hotel. Comfy bed. Friendly and helpful staff. Safe, walkable area and close to downtown. I’d stay here again, for sure!

I would like to say Manager Carla is very understanding and made our stay better. This hotel is stunning. The location is a area that speaks charm! The rooms are spacious and gorgeous. High French ceilings and large room. Thanks again Carla for making our stay positive. I rate this Hotel a 10/10.

Highly recommended; attentive staff and service, very comfortable, great location.
We found the music loud but that is probably more a function of us being older and out-of-touch; younger travellers would likely enjoy the musical ambiance.

This is a beautiful property in a great neighborhood. It felt like a home more than anything. The restaurant in property is also incredible. Both places made for a very romantic stay.
