Pillows way too soft otherwise it was a good stay

Good place to stay

Had a very quiet, relaxing time. Front desk was polite and helpful. Breakfast was great. Booked an extra day to get a late night check out which was later refunded without asking. Thank You, Tru by Hilton

Terrible experience, safety and service at Tru Hotel. My child was hurt in his room. We booked a 2 night stay at this hotel in preparation for our family vacation at Hershey Park. Check in was fine but first thing I noticed when I walked into the room was how high the beds were off the floor. I have a 5 & 7 year old, so my wife and I slept in different beds with our kids and propped up the sides with as many pillows as we could so they don’t fall off. Unfortunately, my 7 year old rolled off the bed at night and landed on his left shoulder. Immediately we noticed how deformed his shoulder look and he was crying of pain. We called 911 right away and told the front desk. As the ambulance was taking us down, the front desk was just looking at us, not offering any assistance or asking us if we needed help or even what happened, just staring. Long story short, at Penn State hospital, he ended up with a broken collar bone (clavicle), and our family vacation was ruined. I don’t know why the beds are so exceptionally high off the ground, even the shape of the bed frame seemed odd. To me, seems like a safety issue and less child friendly. And to boot, the toilet wasn’t even working properly, off and on. Terrible experience and service.

Wonderful stay. Please add ready made pancakes instead of the machine . Or a waffle maker.

Hotel was beautiful and clean. Staff was very helpful. We arrived early and just missed breakfast. A staff member brought us a bunch of breakfast items to eat. Front desk was very helpful. My only issue was actually with someone in management that was talking down to the staff. She was very unnecessarily rude and I did not like the way she was speaking to the staff. If she speaks that way in front of guests, I’m assuming she’s even more rude privately

We went for Hershey Park, it’s close enough but also far enough that there’s never an issue with traffic . Quiet and clean. Perfect trip! Not our first time at the property and well for sure come back

Wow for the receptionist!!!

Check in was fine. The room appeared clean. AC worked well. But there was a full grown mushroom growing outside the shower door which leads me to believe that bathroom had not actually been cleaned in some time. We ended up cutting our trip short but the hotel was nice enough to refund us for that night.

Pros: Clean and practical. Everything seems relatively new from room, bed to common areas. The lobby had a plenty of space to relax and watch TV. I liked the fact the table in the room was movable. Cons:

Check in was easy. The room was clean. Everything was great. We stayed just overnight, but we enjoyed it all. Breakfast was good. The whole family liked it.

Came to Hershey for a concert, and it was so perfect! Loved that it had wood floors, I hate carpeted floors in a hotel. The lobby was so cute to hang in. Very nice continental breakfast. Friendly staff! Highly recommend

This location is right next to highway access And about 15 minutes from Hersheypark. Everything was great people were friendly. The only downside I would say is that there is not a safe in the room.

Great time!

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff very nice and friendly. Also had a lot to choose for breakfast and the kids enjoyed the pancakes (and watching them cook).

Waited 20 minutes for the front desk clerk to get back from the neighboring hotel (where I think he also works) to check us in.

Tru a very nice hotel. It was clean, quiet, and secure. It was updated/modern. We liked the games located in the lobby that our family could play at night.

Shower was leaking on the outside, floor was really wet around the shower. Bathroom should’ve been a little cleaner. Breakfast line was very long. Went to eat breakfast around 8:30. Property is nice.

Small rooms. We kept hitting legs off of corners of beds. In our party one group was given a room that was dirty. Sheets on the floor towels on the floor. Shower leaks onto floor and you have to put a towel so you don’t slip. You can hear neighbors as this hotel was poorly constructed. Asked for a simple item and of course they didn’t have it. While eating breakfast each morning a group of about 15 workers walked in past everyone and stood at the corner right next to us at a table when they got assignments. This hotel is definitely contracted to the Days Inn next door. Pool is small. They closed the pool to clean it and when it opened the floor was wet and covered with pieces of the mop. Floors creek. Breakfast is ok For the price, location and all above issues will never stay at another Hilton property. Would not recommend this property at all!!!

Very nice place

Room was nothing like picture. Felt more like a closet. First room we checked into was dirty with towels on floor, trash everywhere and dirty sheets. Floor had a weird smell. On positive side the beds were comfy.

This was my 1st time staying at Tru by Hilton. The room was nice and clean, beds comfortable and front staff attentive. Unfortunately, I overslept and did not try the breakfast. I would definitely stay there again.
