The location is a little bit outside of town so you might not want to walk it if its cold or bad weather. There wasnt a bar but there was a restaurant but we did not eat there. The location seems to be more for conventions and the hotel is located in the middle of a residential area. We have nothing bad to say about the place but for us, staying just 1 night, it would have been better to pick a place closer to the town centre or with more options immediately available in terms of food and drinks

The hotel was very clean and the room size was more than sufficient. No air condition in the room like most hotels in Interlaken. It was an adjustment for us since every stay in the United States pretty much has this important feature. Fortunately it wasn’t extremely hot. The place is very unique since you are sharing the establishment with the assisted living people who live there permanently. It did not affect our stay but it was different from a normal hotel stay in that regard.
Everyone at the place was extremely friendly as well as helpful and the breakfast each day was outstanding. Thank you for a nice three day stay.

Quiet area and spacious rooms. Location was great and beautiful views of surrounding mountains. There’s no AC in the room but not required as nice cool breeze from mountains so just kept windows & doors open.
Pillows are too soft and needed a small fridge & kettle in the room.
Enjoyed our stay and would come again.

This excellently-managed serene property is close to all major attractions in Interlaken with a short walk (or the public bus that stops in front of this hotel). The rooms are spacious, modern, well furnished, and have balconies that open up to the amazing views of the mountains (e.g. Jungfrau, Harder Kulm, etc). The restroom was squeaky clean, but a little outdated with a cloth based separation between the toilet and shower instead of glass, and had a non-tile anti-skid flooring.

There was bus stop right infront of the Hotel which made the accessibility to a lot of places easy.
Breakfast was included and didn't change anything in the menu which was quite annoying but there were more than a few options so it was heart breaking.
Our major surprise was no fan or A/C in the room which kinda pissed me of as soon as I entered the room but on my rampage to the reception for a full refund and immediate cancellation, it sounded like it's the same at most hotels with similar ratings. And usually it isn't that hot as it was that day so keeping windows open when sleeping would do and in addition they arranged for a table fan which kind of brought me relief. I really liked the staff on making that arrangement so quickly. Everything else was very good as well and overall it's a decent place, so I could stay there again.

The hotel was located in a walkable distance from the Interlaken OST. It was very neat and clean and staff were helpful.

Even though it seems to be a place for care for old people, it’s very convenient for his location. Keep in mind to ask at reception for the WiFi login info. Otherwise you will only have 10 minutes connection.

Very clean. Walking distance to main part of Interlaken. Free parking was great! Breakfast had many options of ham, salami, cheeses, yogurt, bread, great coffee. Also: walking distance to get to the tram to take you up to Harder Kulm, which is a must see!

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at, would recommend to anyone staying in Interlaken. Rooms are spacious and the views are amazing. Staff were great and answered any questions I had during the stay. They also provided a bus pass that allowed for free local bus transportation (which was great for when it was raining) and it’s only about a 10-15 min walk to the train station.

Beautiful room and balcony. Bathroom could use an update though, and the bed was not very comfortable. It was also very hot, there was not a vent of any kind for AC so it seemed like the thermostat was just for show. All in all, it was better than some Swiss hotels we’ve stayed at and it was pretty comfortable.

The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood and is still within 10 minutes walk to the train station. The room is clean, with basic amenities. There is no refrigerator in the room but there is a shared one in the common kitchen. I did not give five stars only because my room has the smell of smoke. The hotel is a non-smoking one but previous guests seemed to have smoked in the room.

We had a great time at hotel Artos. The hotel was clean, staff friendly. It was accessible to the bus and you can take a leisure walk if you desire. Hope to be back soon!

When we booked this hotel, we did not see that it’s part of a retirement home. The breakfast staff also took our friends chair because he was drinking “to much” orange juice. The glasses where small and it was supposed to be an all you can eat morning breakfast that we paid for.

Our stay was very nice. Pleasantly surprised on the large size of the room. Bed was very comfy, room very clean and it was probably the quietest hotel I have ever stayed in. Location could not be beat. I would definitely stay here again.

A great, clean, modern property, with so many inclusions at the site. Good breakfast and coffee available and a full wellness centre to use on site. Staff were helpful and friendly. Transport right outside the hotel and easy to use. Highly recommend!

Lovely, clean hotel in a great location. Only around 15 mins walk from the town centre and from the train station. Breathtaking views on either side. The only thing we'd change is we'd love to have a refrigerator in the room, but because we went in winter we just left our drinks outside on the balcony. I would definitely recommend.

Super clean stay at such a peaceful hotel that was a 10 min walk from Interlaken OST. The staff were all friendly, and because it was a retirement home, they had useful amenities like a full gym, hot water dispenser, a library/board games area, open concept utensils and wine/bottle openers, plates etc.
Last but not least the rooms were spotless clean, and the free breakfast was amazing

Just far enough from the tourist traps that it was quiet but close enough that you can walk to the tourist traps without having to jump in a taxi.

Didn't know a nursing home is included till we saw many elders but it's fine. 30 sec from the bus station and the hotel will give you a free bus card. Very convenient to get to train station then other cities.

It's within walking distance from the train station so we just dragged luggage along. The view from the terrace was magnificent and the room was spacious and clean. The fact that it's used as a Christian elderly house meant that the shower was spacious and convenient to use. The staff were friendly and gave us free bus tickets to use for the duration of the stay so we took a bus back to the station on the last day. Bus stop is just in front of the hotel.
There's a corner where you can buy ice cream, coffee, drinks and fruit. It was our honeymoon and I chatted with some elderly people there. It made me feel good and special in the sense that one day me and my husband will grow old like them and might stay in such care house.

We liked this property because it was so close to everything. We enjoyed the concept of being and and assisted living place. It was extremely hot the week we were there. And the facility did not have air conditioning, that was the only negative.

We booked a superior room and it was fantastic - a big terrace with views of the mountains, roomy and modern, very comfortable. It's in a quiet part of town about 15 minutes from Interlaken Ost station. The staff were very friendly. Yes, as noted by other reviewers, it's attached to a retirement home - but it didn't seem like it at all, and the facilities were great (including breakfast). It was very expensive, but after all this is in Switzerland so of course! We were happy with our choice.
