Facility is good
Staff is good however understaffed.
Breakfast is basic Hilton fare.

This was the second time I have stayed at this hotel and the staff was awesome both times. Everything is clean and nice.
Wish the rooftop bar would stay open later on the weekend.

We were not able to come after my child became very sick. We called the hotel to let them know and asked if we could just change our dates. I didn’t even ask for a refund, just to change weekends. Instead of talking to us the staff member repeatedly hung up on us and the would just put on hold. She even hung up on the hotels.com employee that was trying to help me out. Very unprofessional. I’ve stayed in hotels all over the world and this is the rudest staff over ever experienced. Next time we come to Tuscaloosa we will be staying at another hotel.

The stay was great. As far as the cleanliness of the room, it was good, however I did see what looked like an old blood spot on the bathroom door, and one of the forks in the drawer has something old and crusty on it. These two very important items detracted from a 5 star cleanliness rating.

The staff was awesome, from registrar to housekeeping, everyone one we encountered was professional, helful and friendly. Defenitely stay there again.

We had an overall great experience here! Every single thing was amazing, including free early check-in and a great free breakfast! The only trouble we had was when we got to our room, the staff said the room was ready but it was definitely unfinished. When we alerted hojsekeeping about the sofa bed being left out, drawers and appliances open, air filters left out if the conditioner, no trash nags and very few towels,etc etc, they told us to finish it ourselves. Other than than, it was an amazing experience and we will definitely be back.
P.S. the manager was SO nice, and the beds were SO soft! And the Bama decor was top notch!

Very clean and friendly staff. Pool and outdoor patio was a nice way to spend the hot afternoons. Having the option to use the outdoor grill was a great way to have a low cost family dinner we bought from the grocery store.

I really like the one bedroom suite with a separate living room and kitchen. Perfect for a few days away from home. Staff is super nice!

My first stay at a Homewood Suites and I liked it a lot. It was in Tuscaloosa and loved the University of Alabama theme throughout…so very well done! The room was very nice. My only complaint is that there is no door between the bathroom sink area and suite, so if someone is sleeping, it is really hard to use the bathroom area without awakening them. And it eliminates any privacy

Just a side note as we have stayed at the property several times. We noticed that the AC was running a little louder than normal. The carpet was also damp. We had intended to tell the front desk and forgot. We were concerned that there was condensation or something with the AC unit.

Great location for any downtown business and close to some unique bars and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and my room was huge as was the bath...very clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast, too. I will definitely stay again.

We enjoy staying here when in town. It's close to many bars and restaurants and has a nice little bar of its own on the top floor. Rooms are spacious. Workout room has a working Peloton which I enjoyed being able to use while I was there also.

My husband and I visit Alabama once a year and this has been our best trip yet!! From check-in to check-out, everything was great!! The staff was helpful, courteous, and professional. Our room was clean and spacious and the daily breakfast was delicious!! My only regrets are not having a chance to sit at the pool and not having time to visit the hotel restaurant. From this point on, we will stay here and will also try to convince our family to do the same!

Everything was nice and easy. Our only complaint was the front desk worker the first night we were there was rude. Rooftop bar made good drinks. Food was meh. But drinks 10/10! Room was nice and clean and spacious.

I would have given it 5 stars but nobody cleaned our room after the first night. We had to call the next day for towels and shampoo. Other than that, nice property
