The trip was last min so had the last room which was great and very clean and comfortable, we had an accessible room on the ground floor and if I had one thing was not right with the room is the bathroom was very cold and could have done with a towel heater in the room. And on the eco from the only reason I makes it low was we have electric cars and would have been hand to have had a charger or two in the car park. But other than that it was fine great location.

Very noisy, due to being close to main road. Unreasonably early check out for the price of a double room. A cleaning cloth was left (assume forgotten) on the toilet paper holder I. The bathroom. Not that bad after all though...ok for one night stay.

Perfect in every way. Really comfortable and spacious rooms and the reception staff are simply superb

The hotel was excellent value for money we had everything we needed. It was clean and very comfortable.

The floor carpets from reception to rooms would do with either a deep clean or replacement. The dressing table chair also needs a clean. Apart from this we enjoyed our stay and we look forward to another stay on our next trip to Yorkshire . The staff were amazing

Great help yourself take away breakfast . Very helpful staff . I found room pretty quiet given the proximity to M62 - I also always use ear plugs . Take your own toiletries as the ones provided are not the best quality . Fast WiFi and plenty of parking .

This is the second time we have stayed here. Budget hotel but comfortable beds an pleasant friendly staff. Breakfast has improved with a hot sandwich offer available now. Nice pub next door which does lunch and dinner if required.

My stay was ok but lack of service during the night the guy with the pink hair was more worried about watching his movie in the back room

A room for the night after a wedding, it did what it says on the tin. Very friendly staff, couldn’t do enough, even when I arrived on my road bike, I was offered a safe room to place it for the night without asking!! I declined as I prefer to keep it in my room. Room was clean and a very comfy bed. We took breakfast and were pleasantly surprised at how nice the sausage sandwiches were! Along with croissants, worth the price.

I was a bit concerned as my room faced onto the M62 but with triple glazing I had no need to be as it wasn’t bothersome at all and yes you can hear it but it’s very muted also as this was previously a premier inn the rooms are big and beds very comfortable

Friendly staff and convenient from the motorway

Dated property - for example, well worn hallway carpets need replacing. Poor breakfast with very limited menu. Plain teacake with sausage or bacon filling. No breakfast room - had to take food back to room or sit in tiny foyer. Just off motorway, not suitable without a car. For people with limited mobility it would be a problem to reach transportation - across two busy intersections and down steps to get to bus stop into town.

Friendly staff, clean and tidy. Didn't really enjoy grab and go breakfast as prefer traditional however my fault not checking this prior.

Great place to stay.My wife and I had 2 nights here.Room was very clean and spacious.Exceptional service given by Sheree who was very kind and friendly on checkin and second day of stay.Self serve breakfast consisted of sandwiches made up of either egg, sausage or bacon and machine made coffee.

We'll connect to city centre by bus. Hotel is clean and provides a breakfast bag. Very comfortable and big size.

Check in super easy - staff very friendly. Room very comfortable and spacious. Nice pub next door. Only downside was the fire alarm sensors are super sensitive and Stan from shower when we opened door set it off 🙈 When planning a trip to Halifax again for concert at Piece Hall I will definitely return.

Rooms looked nice from the images but aren’t very well maintained - the bathroom was full of black mould around the tiling and the sofa bed that came inside the room was stained with a funk smell. Don’t expect the same maintenance as

Hotel located next to M62 so noisy at night. Breakfast adequate but strange location in the lobby so we preferred to take back to our room. Fab in bathroom was very noisy too and room very hot at night

Very warm and welcoming staff, very spacious room, and was very clean and tidy due to my disabled they accommodate for my needs, i was very impressed overall, definitely would stay here again if i have to come up too Huddersfield again

Room felt damp. Had to have sheets changed as they felt wet to the touch. Staff were very accommodating

Lovely staff. Terribly smelly room

The staff were very helpful as the heating was not working. the lady on reception followed me back to the room(20),picking up a heater on the way. She was not able to get the heating to work but a person was able to fix it next day. This seemed to be only a temporary fix as the heater did not work later that second evening.
