Over all good. Don’t like that this hotel allows dogs! No ice bucket in room very small hot tub and it is not connected to pool!

The room was extremely large with an open floor plan. Easily one of the best single night hotel stays I’ve had. I also really felt safe knowing that the hotel is tucked away from other stores and or the main road.

Breakfast was wonderful. The pool was also great. The hot tub had a very strong propane smell when you turned on the bubbles. But the ambiance of the little area was nice besides that. Our sofa bed had a very large urine stain on it. When we went to the front desk, we were basically told too bad since it was fully booked. No offer to take money off, move us to a new room the next night, just a new set of sheets. We specifically booked this room for the 3 beds and had to deal with 2 for our entire trip. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this hotel.

It started out rough as our neighbors in 104 were blaring music. After a call and a visit down to the front office it was handled. After that the stay went well. Room was clean and the beds were very comfortable.

Let me start by saying, WOW! What a great experience I had. Just stayed one night 1/7/24. Service was great, amenities were outstanding (pool, outside hot tub, WiFi). The continental breakfast was out of this world! Make your own waffles and pancakes, and every single item needed was available. Price was very affordable. Room cleanliness was awesome. Efficiencies in the room even for one night was a game changer. Can’t think of anything bad to say!

This hotel is great for pet owners. Our room was on the first floor and it was right beside the side door. It was so convenient for taking our dog out for bathroom break and there was lots of area for a dog to walk and go to the bathroom. They provided potty bags at a post right outside by the grass.
The room was clean and there were high ceilings so the room felt big. Our king size bed was comfortable. And the pull out sofa wasn’t too comfy but it was enough for our kid. There was microwave, stove top and a big fridge in the room so it was very convenient for cooking.
Breakfast was also amazing. Very fresh with lots of variety.
We stayed this hotel for skiing at the Boyne Mountain and it was fine about 20mins away.
It is well worth the price. Highly recommend!

If I could click on 10 stars I would. The staff, the cleanliness, the appearance, the breakfast and the cost, all excellent. I will be staying here again and recommend to any of my friends going north.

The only thing I didn’t like was that it was like a bar in the lobby last night. There were 30 plus people in the lobby drinking and being very loud for hours on end. Not something you like to see when you have two little ones Made me feel uneasy honestly.

The kitchenette was a very nice touch. The room appeared to be very clean, however due to the pets that had previously been through the room, my wife coughed our entire stay. I felt sorry for the neighbors.
Its too bad people dont rank higher than an animal in the world we live in. Clean, but I'll go across the ex-way to the hotels where the animals aren't allowed next time

Everything about our stay was wonderful! The room was spotless, spacious, and the bed was comfy. The outdoor hot tub was awesome!! We didn’t use the pool, but it looked clean and we learned when we checked in that the pool is open 24 hours, and is adult only after 11pm. The breakfast was fresh and there was a great selection, and the clerk that checked us in was professional, knowledgeable and super friendly. Seriously one of the nicest budget friendly hotels we’ve ever staying in. We can’t wait to go back and enjoy this hotel again in the near future!

The staff was awesome! The rooms were clean and well equipped! Breakfast was also very good! No complaints at all! Very comfortable room s. It was raining the day of check out, so we hung out in the room for a while. Felt like we were at home!

Nice hotel - loved the full frig and decent free breakfast everyday. Staff was nice and helpful. There were some things in the room that were dinged but it was clean. Fluffier towels would be nice. Happy with the stay.

Finding the motel took some doing. It is tucked in behind another motel, right near the expressway. There was no noise traffic through the night. We would stay there again. The breakfast was good, and there was a Starbucks inside the grocery store near by for those who like stronger coffee.

The hotel is beautiful. Super clean room with kitchenette. Indoor Pool and Outside Hot Tub area were very inviting. Entire staff was friendly. Breakfast had many choices. Overall, one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in.

I pulled up to the hotel and walked inside to check in at 5:50 pm, tired and exhausted with a wife and teenager who were just as exhausted. We had been up since 6 am, sightseeing and driving for more than 9 hours. When the hotel associate said our room wasnt ready l cant print here what l wanted to say or how l felt. Our check in was 4 pm and l was told it was going to be another 15 or 20 minute wait. I walked out and got into the car and drove another 3 1/2 hours home, that should tell you how pissed off the 3 of us were. If l get charged nearly $200 there will be jihad! I fully expect a 100% refund as that was totally unacceptable for a room not to be ready and to be two hours late being ready. Will not ever be back. Nightmare.

This is a beautiful hotel in excellent condiiton and in a convenient location. It seemed like it was new. The breakfast is much better than the usual continental breakfast that you get at most hotels. The staff was very friendly. We were there for a trip to Mackinaw Island, which is about an hour away, and we liked it so much we extended our stay by a day. I also recommend the German Restaurant which is right down the road in the Alpine area of Gaylord.
