The hotel was incredibly loud with TV's in the restaurant and loud music in the lobby, restaurant and terrace. It was not like being in India at all. You might as well have been in some American city!

Clean and neat room

Was surprised by one thing . When one orders room service one has pay there and then in one’s room. Can’t sign so it get added to your final bill. Never expected or experienced ever before in 5 star rated hotel.

Good place, keep it up

We booked this hotel for 3 nights through Expedia and arrived from United States. We arrived in the night and the room allocated to us was good. But when we touched the bedding, we were shocked after paying USD 120 per night. The bedsheet, pillows were full of stains. Also towels in washroom was very old and low quality. After request they changed everything. On positive side all the staff members were really helpful and very nice. On 3rd night of booking a lot of noise was coming in corridor, we request to check and advise if they consider other guests also staying in hotel. But hotel staff was unable to stop that and later in midnight they changed the room. In summary it was not a very comfortable after paying a lot of money. Only thing we found good a very polite, nice and helpful staff specially at the main entrance and breakfast area.

Front office staff too good

The location was the reason I picked this hotel. The property is pretty but there is a car dealer in the middle of the lobby which is not only tacky but really spoils the look. The bellman was great but the front desk staff was cold as ice. I left and went to the Hyatt Centric, one of the best hotels in the town.

We stayed at Novotel chandigarh for 14 days- 2 connected rooms (from USA and Canada) with our 86 years old mother. The staff all go above and beyond starting from the front office. ( shout out to Duty managers - Sulabh,Kashish and Gurbir ). Energetic team from front desk to valet, to breakfast (Food quality is good ) to room service to house keeping( very clean rooms)Experience staying was excellent. Very clean and The Every need was taken care of with a smile( this was our home for 2 weeks). If you visit chandigarh you will not be disappointed at the Novotel Chandigarh.
