Funky, chic boutique hotel convenient to the platzl in Kimberley.

Great property with charm. Room was clean and comfy. Sat outside by the fire pit and watched a couple deer roam the street.

Large common space in the basement for the breakfast. Delicious breakfast. The hotel staff encouraged a real community feeling.

A great place to stay in Kimberley, BC: modern, eclectically furnished, comfortable, thoughtful amenities, excellent location, great beds, quiet, a scrumptious breakfast spread, and conveniently walkable to downtown. Oh, and that wonderful sauna! Will definitely stay again!

It was a beautifully done boutique hotel. All these little corners that you can sit and relax. Just didn’t like that there was no one was at the desk at night. Key didn’t work and had to call around for someone to come in. Otherwise it was a great place to stay. Will do it again!!!

Gorgeous boutique type hotel with gorgeous antique pieces throughout and comfortable amenities for guests. Wish we'd had more time to enjoy all the spaces inside and out for guests to use but was there briefly and the weather wasn't great. The morning breakfast is very nice and worth enjoying. The dormer room would be a little tight for a longer stay but fine for a night or two. Would not recommend for taller people as the ceiling is low on one side of the room so have to be careful about not bumping one's head. Not a huge issue but something to be aware of. Lots of wonderful amenities available like water, juice, coffee, tea, cookies, snacks throughout the day. A lovely, relaxing place to stay for those wanting something more quaint than a hotel. Kind of like a mix between a B and B and a hotel. Highly recommend.

Really clean and tidy, nice boutique style with a home feel. Won’t be disappointed with the stay I’m sure.

Awesome and quaint boutique hotel. Lots of emphasis on local history. Fantastic amenities like the sauna and the library with the fireplace. Probably the best cold continental breakfast I have ever had (cold smoked salmon anyone?). Units above were a bit noisy with floor noise and noisy plumbing. Other than that, perfect.

One of the best places we have stayed. Awesome service, wonderful breakfast. Also the “goodie” table was much appreciated.

The Larix is like a home away from home. Nice sitting areas both outside and indoors.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly the location was perfect, walking distance to shops and restaurants. The hotel was lovely with attention to every detail and the breakfast and snacks were the perfect added touch. We will be back!!

This was such a lovely place to stay! Unfortunately we only stayed for one night however we are going to planning a trip in hopes to stay here again!

Wonderful property! Beautifully decorated with several spaces for relaxing. Well thought out amenities throughout. Rooms are artfully designed. Wonderful host. Breakfast was substantial and fresh and delicious. Will definitely stay again.

This hotel is just the best. Michael welcomed us with a tour of the hotel. Our room was super comfortable, with a brand new looking bathroom. The toiletries provided smelled lush. There were numerous communal areas where guests are encouraged to relax. There is a guest area where many hot/cold drink options and snacks are provided. There is a fridge for guest use. The breakfast offering looked delicious and included salmon, eggs, fruits, cheeses and pastries. The outdoor areas are clean and well looked after - we didn’t use the sauna but wished we’d had time for it. The whole vibe of the hotel is modern, cosy and welcoming.

The Larix exceeded expectations! Beautiful place, bed was luxurious, every detail thought of and the breakfast was the best continental breakfast we have had at a hotel! We will be making trips to Kimberly just to stay there.

Wish we had booked for more than one night here. Great staff and beautiful experience.
