It was a great location with bakeries, bars, and restaurants close by. The balcony was nice to have to cool off in the evening as there was a heat wave and no A/C. The unique apartment was fun to experience and it was well equipped.

The balcony was sooty and left feet and shoes black. It would be much nicer with plants! There should be a forewarning that this is a rooftop apartment with a narrow stairwell access and low ceiling beams; anyone over 5'4" (160cm) must pay special attention to avoid banging their head.

Nothing really much I walked in and out the place is just ok o was located in the last floor The place was extremely HOT !! only a fun that would not make any difference sleeping in such a hot place .. 😄😄😄😄😄

Great location for tram stop and walking. Quiet area as long as windows are closed at night. It is on the edge of the red light district so don't be surprised if you are approached any time of day!

Instructions to access key safe, internet and Baselcard could be improved. All done remotely so if you don't have an iPhone it takes time to get it sorted. The response was very quick which was good. Door key needed a wiggle to open which can be stressful when you first arrive and think it doesn't work!

Good location loft apartment in the heart of the city and close to river. Good value. One we arrived, we didn't require the car at all as everything was accessible and close by. Apartment had all amenities for our family of 4 and also included a washing machine. Check in process was easy as well. Another positive was the location of a supermarket just a block away with various cafes and bars.

Lounge room had a huge beam and low ceiling so had to be careful not to bump your head. Beds were a little uncomfortable but well laid out for up to 5 persons. There must be a brothel close by in the side street and this was a negative for us as we have 2 teenage girls. Pros were gathered on the corner all day and night so we would walk the other way which was fine, but a bit of an eye sore. Generally speaking not too bad. We still enjoyed our stay.

Very cozy and authentic apartment on attic floor. Beautiful view from the terrace. Great communication, fast replies from the host.

No bedsheets, just a blanket, which makes a feeling that it could be used by somebody before. Pillow was with a pillowcase though. There was no extra information from the host about it and no offer.

The location and the roof terrace were nice

There was no bed linen in the apartment, just towels, and the beds were pretty uncomfortable. Moreover, the door from the one bedroom to the living room could not close (it scraped the floor). That was annoying because the bedroom therefore could not be darkened. Hosts communicated via short, anonymous messages that were mostly unfriendly.

Location is fantastic. Very close to everything. Overall a comfortable place to stay, has a washing machine (no detergent, no dryer and no drying rack so not sure how anyone could use it..), fridge, stove.

There are no power plugs in the kitchen, so while there is a coffee machine there is nowhere to plug it in. Bedroom has all beds piled into the same room with no bed lights, no power sockets, there is no proper bed linen.

The shower was nice, hot water throughout stay, enough utensils , coffee machine was a good idea, was a warm apartment and the windows open wide so the air in the day was nice, having a fridge and freezer was nice too. cleaning products etc great Wi-Fi connection good tv let us check in early lock on bedroom door made us feel a bit more safer

(HIDDEN TOURISM FEE THAT ISN’T ADVERTISED 4CHF PER PERSON, PER NIGHT) I don’t even know where to start with the negatives. I was so disappointed. I saw these great reviews and was blinded by the good ones I didn’t see the bad reviews. Also got a message from the host asking for ‘Good Reviews’ and to message them if I have negative ones. well I’m publicly saying it because this host is RUDE and unhelpful other than letting us check in early. There was a language barrier which I understand, but when we asked for things we got some really confusing worded messages and when we asked if they had more toilet paper (cos we only got 1 toilet paper between 3 people for 2 nights) they replied ‘we are not a hotel’ there’s notices around the building that say, ‘message if you need anything’ but it isn’t advertised that you’ll gets a rude response and it should be advertised that you have to bring your own things because it wasn’t advertised, you have to buy bin bags, which we didn’t we just binned our rubbish in outside bins when we could. it was advertised as in we’d have everything. the towels were tiny and rough, I don’t really know if the bedding was fresh, it looked like a mattress with no sheet, maybe we were meant to bring sheets? but again not advertised. The building and apartment was run down, my friend found mould near her bed , the sofa was stained with god knows what, the walls were dirty, there was cracks all over the walls. Also the doors were IMPOSSIBLE. we had apartment 8 which you have to fight the door to get in and out. we had to lock ourselves inside which is a massive fire hazard and when the host messaged about someone ‘fixing’ the door we didn’t want to let people in because surely this is a matter the host should fix in their own time? not when people are inside the apartment, we were 3 women who didn’t want to let some man inside the apartment.

The door would not lock properly. I missed on going out as we did not want to leave it unlocked. I eventually messaged the owner who knew about the problem and had not had it fixed. You need to lift the door up as you are turning the key. This information sent prior to arrival would have been beneficial.

No sheets, no pillows, no where to hang your clothes. No bath towel, only a flimsy hand towel. No bedside lamps so 8 metre struggle in the dark when you switch off the main light. Booking.com web site states ‘All taxes and fees included’. When we got there requested fees. Still pestering us.
