My wife and me where there three times in last two years. It tells you something about it! If you look for very nice and calm place this Hotel is the right place for you. Staff is very friendly and there for you 24 hours - the waiter is exceptional. Close to the beach, very clean place, breakfast is more than decent. Good value for fair price. Good Job Kendwa Cool and Calm Hotel. I wish you all the best. Asante sana rafiki!

Everything- The place is close to the beach and very nice restaurants. It is situated in a quiet area away from all the noise and crowds.
The ammenities are basic and it is not a luxury hotel that you find on the beach.
Cool and Calm hotel is smaller and more personal. It's clean and the bed was the comfiest bed that we found in Zanzibar. There is a laundry service and free secure parking inside the hotel complex.
Breakfast is included in the room price and it is delicious and filling. They have a menu for lunch and dinner as well. We had the chicken masala and chicken salad. Wowww!!
Lastly, i want to commend Cool and Calm hotel for their service. From the moment we walked in, we just felt so welcome. Ali and his collegue treated us like friends. It was a great place to end our honeymoon. Thank you so much.
If you are looking for great value for money, outstanding service, great food and a good night's rest, go stay at Cool and Calm hotel.

friendly welcome on arrival. excellent location. rooms are simple but comfortable with good AC. good breakfast. secure parking. ideal for a short stay or one where you will be out and about during the day

A small hostel for a short stay and with smiling staff. Room was clean, AC was working good also some tea and coffee in the room. some restaurants around and small shops. About 7-10 minutes walk distance to the beach.
as for me, a bit far from the beach. the rest is ok.

Room was very clean and modern. WI-FI was working wonderfully. Rich and personalized breakfast. Excellent service and beautiful common area

Great place! Clean and nice rooms, close to the beach and made-to-order breakfast in copious amounts! Quiet area makes for a wonderful night's sleep! Service was exceptional as well, everything we needed was taken care of immediately :)

i did not like because after reaching at the Hotel the said it’s full booked so i was left with no where to go this hotel has poor hospitality and they don’t update when the hotel
is full and let people keep booking so disapointed

We booked a room through booking.com but when we arrived we were informed that the rooms were fully booked although the rooms looked available on booking.com & that there was an error of some sort on booking.com.
The Manager apologised for the inconvenience and luckily we managed to find a room in another hotel. The place looked like a nice clean budget hotel and less than 4 minutes walk to the beach
