The view of the lake through the trees was beautiful and the house open and easy to be in. The kids loved the lawn in the back and we all had a great time.

This is the best house that we have rented in Tahoe. Stocked so we'll, clean and the backyard is perfect for families to play in with their kids. Everyone in our group agreed that we should try and get this place again next year.

Our family of 8 had a wonderful holiday stay at Lazy Bear lodge. The five bedroom home was perfect for us. I have rented homes all over the world and own a vacation home. Lazy Bear Lodge had the most well equipped kitchen I have ever been to with everything needed to make any gourmet cook happy. The location is very quiet and you can see a glimpse of Lake Tahoe through the trees on the back deck. We love Homewood and recommend Sunnyside and Swiss Restaurant for dinner. Winter or summer Lazy Bear Lodge would make every family happy.

The house was absolutely perfect and well maintained. We had 4 couples who stayed and each had our own room and bathroom. The house was spacious enough that we didn't feel like we were on top of each other. The inside was clean and outdoors was well groomed and maintained. Everything was easy to get to and overall we enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend.

Amazing location and home! Plenty of space for our large family! The kitchen was fully stocked so we could cook! You never know with vacation rentals. This one was one of the best!!

This house would be great house for the summer but not so much for the winter time. We stayed here in the winter time, it’s big house with such a small hot water heater. We ran out of hot water every time when kids took a bath. And hard to access the back yard in the winter time. A good location with a walking distance to lake.

Great place for families. Nice beds and plenty of bathrooms. Close to grocery stores. Snow park right down the street, grand kids love sledding and ice skating in Squaw valley. (I refuse to call it palisades). Town of Truckee a short beautiful drive away with a kid zone museum and for some California history, the Donner memorial. We had snow but no skiing yet….
Kitchen was a little smaller then we thought but no big. Would like to return in summer to enjoy the beautiful backyard. Champagne and grand kids, everything I look for in a thanksgiving getaway! Everyone had a great time.
