This is incredible find and Al, the host, could not have been more hospitable. The rental is so close to downtown New London and Niantic and the highway that it was easy to get to and from all major necessities and recreation. We loved the design of the guest house and had everything we needed (air fryer added from the pictures only). The grounds were meticulously kept and the pool was inviting and warm! The view was unparalleled, especially when considering how close to a city we were. Looks just as good as it does in the pictures. I would strongly recommend this booking and already am daydreaming about returning.

Al was a fantastic host and the accommodations were just as described. Off the beaten path but still close to restaurants. We had planned on staying in Mystic but are glad we chose Al’s beautiful guest house.

Had a great time! Would definitely come back. Beautiful, peaceful setting and Al was a wonderful host. We got to enjoy the pool and view and a great meal at Hell’s Kitchen at Foxwoods Casino only a half hour away. The remodeled stable/barn cottage is fabulous!

The guest house was cozy and well stocked. We had a great and relaxing stay. We didn't have great weather to enjoy it, but the deck and outdoor space were lovely, and the view was amazing. The host was very helpful and attentive.

Our floors were being refinished so we needed a place to stay for a week with our dog. The cottage was perfect for our needs, with plenty of space to walk our dog.

Wow! If anything, the pictures don't do this property justice. Views for days, especially from the balcony, the cleanest pool I've ever swam in, and a well furnished and cared for interior. Al, the host, was also extremely accommodating.
The location is pretty far off the beaten path, and really gave a sense of peaceful isolation - a true "getting away from it all" feeling. Being able to drive 20 mins to a fantastic beach, and then escape those crowds and head back here was a true treat.
Bonus points for being pet friendly - being able to take out dog on vacation with us just made everything a little better!

This place is the owner's guest house and it is pet friendly. It is a beautiful property with a pool and terrific views of nature. The owners are super nice and live in the main house on the property. Everything was super clean and we enjoyed our long weekend there.

I am a single mom with an autistic child (9) and Al went out of his way to make us both feel so comfortable. To top it off - his place was beautiful! Great views very clean - very accommodating! Thank you so much!

We really liked this location. It was separate from the main house. Really quiet and peaceful. Room was great, it has a separate bedroom which is nice since I’m an early riser and my wife is not. There is a pool but due to the time of year, we were unable to use it. I can see staying here in the summer and spending the day by the pool and just relax.

The friendly homeowners were have created a cute cottage home that exudes warmth and relaxation. Clean home that’s perfect for a 2-3 day getaway in the fall/winter or just a spot to rest your head while visiting family in the area. The views are lovely. Local breakfast spots were delicious. Would come back.

Newer listing that is sure to get booked up quickly. Cozy, great location with spectacular view. Everything you need for a peaceful retreat including a pool for warmer weather. Our stay was a little off season but the location we close to everything we wanted to visit. Would highly recommend and we will certainly check availability if visiting the area again.

This property provides a welcome respite from NYC and is so easy to get to! The pool was lovely, the guest house cozy and comfortable and the view, especially from the deck, spectacular! Very peaceful! Our dog loved the trails and the woods! Wonderful suggestions on where to go and what to do from our host, Allan. Thank you and will return!
