Very pleased with Grands Suites. Modern hotel, spacious rooms, and terrific location. Easy to get to all parts of the island, and plenty of food choices within 5 minutes by the water.
Not as crowded as other tourist areas.

This place is top tier in every way. The rooftop pool area is spacious with comfortable lounge chairs. Bar and restaurant are top notch as well. Our room was large and we really appreciate having a refrigerator in the room. Staff is amazing.

The only issue was the safe kept not working , over 5 times with us having to wait for maintenance to arrive. To be fair they were quite quick but kept implying that we had forgotten the number which we hadn’t

Loved this hotel, modern, stylish, very clean, super efficient friendly staff. Tucked away a couple of blocks from the main road, quiet, very easy access to bus routes. Wonderful views from the rooftop pool open later than many hotel pools.
Liked having a kitchenette and dine in/out options. Bistro doing takeaway and bakery opposite with several convenience stores within a 2-min walk.
Cant think of any suggestions for changes/improvements.

Nice Hotel. Everything was fine except for the party going on at the rooftop pool well into the night also didn’t care for the fact that cleaning staff cleans rooms once every five days. Other than that, good place to stay.

This was a lovely hotel and we really enjoyed our stay as a family of 5. Pool and view was wonderful drinks and food prices reasonable. It could do with a small games room or maybe a pool table for children. I would recommend this hotel.

The good points are;
- There were two laundry machines on each floor and free to use.
- The suites have all the necessary cutlery in the kitchen.
- Towels were exchanged every day.
- The room and facilities are quite new and clean.
We didn't like;
- The area is noisy at weekends till late at night.

The staff were lovley. The facilities very nice, we spent several hours on the rooftop loungers. We arrived 4 hours before checkin prepared to leave our bags there and come back. Not only were we checked in 4 hours early we were given a free upgrade with a harbour view. Thank you to the grands suites.

Well located hotel with great indoor and rooftop outdoor pool, overlooking Sliema, Inland and Valetta. Rooms spacy and well-equipped gym. Fully recommend.

pleasent stay near food area without the noise

This was a well located stay to go off and visit the island hot spots. The rooms were clean and spacious although not separated by a proper wall (wardrobes were the separation and didn’t reach the ceiling) which meant privacy wasn’t great. The kitchen was ample to cook meals in when needed and the staff were very helpful. The pool was ok to sit in and look at the view but not big enough to swim in and didn’t open til 9am. It was very very busy in the afternoons with big school groups of teenagers. I’d say this is more a hotel for adults vs children, but that didn’t matter much as it was so hot that we went out to do day trips every day. The spa pool is in the basement and I imagine would be great to go to in winter when you don’t mind not seeing the sun.

The suite i stayed did not have a partition wall between both rooms so noises and lights disrupted the sleep and privacy. Also the wardrobe was leading to the other room.
This type of suite cab work for a family with young kids. It did.not work for us, also the ceilings in the suite did not exist. I will not come back.

Beautiful clean, great location to tour the island, great pool with a view, overall excellent experience. Really liked the laundry facilities felt like home!

The hotel was outstanding - great service and amenities with a very comfortable room. There were a couple of cafes both in the hotel and nearby that were nice for something quick, and the proximity to public transportation was also great. I'd definitely recommend staying here and would absolutely stay here again in the future!

It was really clean and modern, the only things i would say is you can hear the noise from the hallways so rooms arent soundproof and the restaurant is rather expensive. However theres lots of restaurants near by and bus stops are also close by as well. Would stay here again, staff are friendly and helpful.

I've stayed first week of July, during family holidays. The apartment is new, in modern style and clean. The air-condition is working well. I was moved from 10th floor to 9th floor, due to overnight noise from top pool, as I am lightsleeper. Staff is kind. Plenty restaurants, take-aways, coffee shops and shops in the walking distance. Promenade alongside the cost. Walking distance to Sliema and and St Julian. Great place for family holidays. Fully recommended.

This is a lovely hotel, with a spa and an outdoor rooftop pool with beautiful views. Good location, away from the hustle from the main strip. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and I would definitely recommend this place.
The only downside for us was, that we had a family suite, which was actually one large room with a set of wardrobes dividing it into 2 bedrooms, but the wardrobes don't block out the light or sound from one room to the other. So everyone has to go to bed at the same time, even the use of a mobile device the light shines through to the next room and the sound really carries. It just needs to be designed better.

The studio apartments are a nice size and stocked well with all the equipment you need for a self catering holiday. Great location for buses and within walking distance of bars, restaurants and shops, but far enough away from the main nightlife if that’s not your thing. Great stay with friendly staff. Only disappointment was that the roof infinity pool was under maintenance and we were not told this would be the case, however, the spa was great.

The hotel was lovely and gave us everything we needed. The bed was very comfy (though the sheet too small), the kitchenette was perfectly adequate, the bathroom spacious and the room was large. All the staff were very helpful. The only downside was that at the last point of our stay there was some very noisy residents who insisted on slamming their doors (soft closer would help), shouting in the corridors and playing really loud music even though the management had asked them to be respectful to others. Also a few people thought it was acceptable to walk around the hotel in their swim wear bearing in mind that the pool was on the top and underground floors which is disrespectful to some religions.

I left an important item to my room and called the hotel a day after checking out to see if they had saved it. Reception promised to call me back in 5mins, which didn't happen. Eventually ended up calling the hotel 4 times in the following 2 days, before getting an answer from them. And the answer: "Housekeepers found nothing from your room". So in case you happen to leave anything in your room when checking out, just remember that you won’t be getting it back ever.

The ambience was really lovely and when help was needed, we didn’t struggle to receive help. Some of the things in the room, though in good working condition, were a little broken. For example, the shower handle holder had a hole in it.
My main downside to it was we had a kettle but no tea/ coffee/ sugar or milk satchets. First hotel I’ve been to without. Other than that, not bad

We had a fantastic 8 day holiday at Grand Suites. A very clean & comfortable one bedroom apartment with fantastic views. Staff were excellent there for all your needs. Infinity pool & bar area were lovely will definitely return.

I had a problem with the ropelight in the room. The housekeeping didn’t come everyday to change the towels or make the bed so I had to go almost everyday to the front desk. I also had a problem with the airconditioning.

Nice property, everything is there and works. Room and hotel in general was clean and tidy. Staff are very helpful. Spa facilities are good and welcome at the end of a day. Didn't have any of the food but the café looked good and inviting.

In while booking we asked for a quiet room. Unfortunately, they gave us a room on the first floor on the street side, which was not quiet.
However, the staff were excellent in changing the room the next day and we spend great time in the remaining week.
Property quality is good and staff are excellent!

The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. Location is easy to access both for walking around the area and for taxi/Bolt. Roof top area was extremely windy during our stay, though the views and bar area were exceptional.

They forgot to write down that the pool is just sunheated , of two spas one was closed and the other one barly working . This was the topfloor !
On saturdays there was a bingocompany playing in the bar , angry eyes egen we where trying to reach the sunchairs . Make me wondering if we where the guests . We had a room on the third floor , VERY loud traffic and the bar outside did the best with music . I truly wounder hos they can call a small apartment a svit , a svit for me is something totaly different . Another reflection ; no hooks in the bathroom and no places in the bedroom to put your dialy clothes . Their spaarea downstairs where very nice so there is the most positive experience for our week
