Overall it’s a really nice place. Room was very comfortable. A bit on the pricey side.

The property was beautiful and very peaceful. At the end of our stay they tried to charge an extra $135 for “resort fees” which was not indicated to me upon checkout. I asked what “resort fees entailed” and he said wifi and grounds keeping. In the end the fees were waved but not a very good experience upon checkout.

This property is beautiful, the pool is nice and it has so many great amenities. We loved being close to the river and taking advantage of the kayak rental. Overall it was a good experience. We were here over the 4th of July and it was very busy.
The restaurant has EXCELLENT food, the people in the kitchen are doing great. The service staff and general organization at the restaurant seemed to struggle. We had dinner one night, sat at the bar and had to listen to the bartender complain the entire time. So that and the struggle very obviously felt by all of the service staff ruined what could have been a wonderful experience

OMG… what is not to love about Dawn Ranch? At the top of the list of great thing about this place is the incredibly friendly and cool staff. That alone makes it a 10/10 recommend. The location, amenities and cleanliness are also outstanding. Don’t think of it as a cabin by the river, rather it is more like a nice hotel with super cool people and 5 star treatment at reasonable prices, that just happens to be a lot of small buildings instead of one big one. I adore this place and will definitely be back.

A tranquil location with several areas to walk our dog. The cabin was very small. Only room for a bed, two night stands and a cabinet. Near everything we needed; Safeway and good restaurants.

My encounter was exceptionally exasperating. Numerous 'complimentary' amenities were inaccessible due to weather, but charges were still applied. Several additional fees were not disclosed during check-in, and my inquiries resulted in a flood of emails containing excuses. The staff's impoliteness and lack of helpfulness further heightened my frustration. The restaurant service felt rushed, and the food was merely average. The location is attractive, but it certainly isn't worth the stress. I regret not reading reviews before visiting.

A cozy cottage nestled within a beautiful wilderness setting along the Russian River. Cozy comfortable rooms, tasty restaurant/bar and cool atmosphere along with a awesome service staff. Well worth the visit.

This is a beautiful property and the restaurant is excellent! The only thing I would say is that the room was very dark and a little hard to warm up. But overall, a great stay!

I was looking for a quick getaway and stumbled across Dawn Ranch on my search. Let me first off say right away after I booked my stay, the staff of Dawn Ranch reached out to me to make me feel welcomed and excited to stay at Dawn Ranch. I inquired about an early check in and the staff of Dawn Ranch was able to accommodate and also did a complimentary room upgrade. Right off the bat, I was impressed with their hospitality. As for the tiny cabins, they are so cute and definitely a place that makes you feel like you are one with nature with a side of glamping. The rooms don't have any TVs but they have wifi and so many complimentary stuff this resort offers from bike rides to ebooks. I love how friendly the staff is and it makes you want to come back again. I think so many hotels and resorts forgets that friendliness goes a long way and Dawn Ranch have gone way out of their way to make visitors feel welcomed and relaxed. Love that rooms are clean and comes with high end luxury soaps. So many complimentary amenities in room as well. Great place for couples, families or groups.

Very attractive interior design. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel trying to be a destination. Restaurant and bar trying to be chic, too dark, menu too limit. Cabins are very small, beds are short, the one chair sits off the floor by 14 inches. Cabins are not very suitable for large people nor for couples that wake up at different times. Pricey.

Beautiful property tucked in by the river with new ownership and management. Really enjoyed our stay. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The grounds are gorgeous. Would come back in a heartbeat.
