Great hotel in a great location. We got 2 waters each day in our room which is great! Super close to UA! Great gym. Walking distance to all the restaurants Nice rooftop bar as well

Arrived with absolutely no help parking or bringing in bags. We dealt with that fine. Then morning No 1 - We were “woken up” at 8 am with a blaring fire alarm. Scary. Jumped out of bed to get dressed and leave. It stopped. We relaxed. It happened 5-6 more times. we called front desk after 2nd time and told “someone testing them alarm system”. Really? That early in morning? I told them we needed something done - like a discount or free breakfast. The woman at desk agreed with me. Nothing done! Never heard back. And our bill had no discounts. This place is owned by a big Corp that has NO interest in Customer Service!!

Great stay. Our bathroom door was a little wonky but other than that… perfect! Thank you!

I would 10/10 recommend the Alamite. We came down for Bama bound orientation. The hotel was fabolous and within walkimg distance to so msny great restaurants..it was a 7 min drive to the University of Alabama .

the restaurant was slow for breakfast but was very busy. the gym is amazing and the whole hotel felt very clean. will definitely stay there again!

This is an amazing hotel. We stayed here for Bama Bound and had a wonderful time. The hotel is beautiful and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful stay. We loved how walkable it was to all the food places we wanted to go to and even down to the Riverwalk!

Very nice new hotel. Staff was friendly and professional. Hotel was clean and stylish. Main problem is there are rooms under the rooftop bar. If you are not planning to be up late at night this will be as unpleaset for you as it was for me. I asked shortly after checking to be relocated but was told there was no other rooms available and that they were fully booked. It’s unfortunate bc I likely would’ve booked there again, but I will not take the risk of drawing the short straw again.

Great, clean quant hotel. Close to restaurants , coffee & good proximity to university. Comfortsble beds & the lobby smelled amazing. Nice rooftop to sit & enjoy morning coffee.

The Alamite is a beautiful hotel in a convenient location. My experience was jaded by the sub par housekeeping. First day they made the bed and did nothing else. We didn’t receive more coffee, creamer or even a clean mug. They left the dirty mug from that morning. Second day they didn’t even come at all. We received a bag on our door of one set of towels and some creamer. Housekeeping manager blamed it on us for not leaving our room early enough in the day. Note: when we returned to our room at 3:30 pm after being gone for 4 hours, they were still cleaning rooms on our floor. Just overall a tad disappointed at the service for such an expensive hotel.

From the moment that you step into The Alamite, all of your stressors slip away. The guest services are attentive and knowledgeable and the ambiance is second to none. My favorite part of staying at The Alamite is entering the lift. It is so uniquely decorated. The rooms are decorated in a really understated way, and whatever scent the hotel uses is delicious! I look forward to my next trip to Tuscaloosa.

I showed up for my reservation, which was prepaid, and upon check-in, I was advised that the hotel had overbooked and that they did not have a room available. Shame on them and shame on expedia as my wife and I were moved down the road to a roach hotel. I am livid!!!!! And want my money back in my account stat!

The hotel was wonderful. However, there wasn't a do not disturb sign, as we thought this odd. The staff tried to just walk in 3 separate times, only announcing themselves 1 of the times. We should have asked about it, also they should have asked if we had a sign. That part of it was unprofessional. However, the hotel is beautiful, lots of amenities, and a great location. Just prefer they had given us the tools to communicate with staff better.

New hotel with beautiful original artwork. Staff very friendly. No hot water so had to take cold showers. Thermostat remote control didn’t work. Room was not cleaned. Only towels placed on sink. Coffee and cups not replenished. Toilet base was loose. Shared our concerns with front desk.

Visited Tuscaloosa to see football and visit with family. Loved the location of the Alamite, but I could hear alarms from other guest rooms. Also, on the first morning, my shower was ice cold. Further, my room had no drawers, so all clothes, socks, etc., had to be stored in the closet right next to the front door. There was a door stop there, and I think I stubbed my toe at least 5 times against that door stop. Poor design. But, again, I did love the location. We were able to walk to the football game from the hotel.
