We enjoyed our 3 days stay very much! Very nice old nostalgic facility but updated with modern conveniences while keeping the look and history of the architecture. It was nice, quiet and relaxing. The staff were very helpful, accommodating and friendly. We would very much recommend it and hope to stay again in the future.

Hotel Giles is gym of historic architecture by Alfred Giles, and the perfect spot to take in Comfort TX's legacy of Freethinkers. Great service, great staff, wonderful experience.

A great place

We had a very nice spacious ground floor room with king bed and large bathroom (suite 7) in the Carriage House annex. It had a view of the main building's rear. It is a nice heritage building. Towels and shower were good. Breakfast offered freshly made hot items and home-made jam of good quality. Friendly staff. Parking in the quiet street in front of the hotel. Breakfast time between 9 and 10 am, a bit too late to our liking. The king bed was a bit too sensitive to a partner's movements in bed. But these are minor issues. All in all recommended!

Very much enjoyed our stay. Comfortable and clean and very restful. Charming location. Staff was super friendly! We went for the eclipse but the area was uncharacteristically cloudy. Got together with other guests on the grounds and met in the gazebo in the evening. Breakfast was excellent.

You won't find more charm in town than the Giles Hotel. It's an Old West beauty with the upstairs veranda. The room had a modern and spotless bath, and a great bed. Location was ideal for walking to nearly everything in Comfort.Tasteful and tasty breakfast. We will return.

I have stayed at this hotel/B&B for many years under different property owners, and managers. While I have always enjoyed it, it is clear to me that the new owners/managers and staff have really upped their game. There was live music in the courtyard when we arrived, Everyone was very welcoming, the staff was always asking what they could do for me, and the facilities themselves have been upgraded. I love the place and the town. I’ve stayed in many of the rooms, including the owners suite, but I really like the cottage in the back.

Perfect get away for a romantic weekend. All personal was very friendly and courteous. When we arrived at 11pm front desk manager took the time to walked us to our room and explained all the different features of it. Home made breakfast with and friendly staff ( Irene) get you started for your day ahead. Extremely recommended

We stayed in the log cabin and it was absolutely perfect! So romantic and quiet. The staff is wonderful! Will definitely be back!!!

Cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel!! We arrrived Friday, but I had booked Saturday . Bruce immediately put us in another room and invited us to the happy hour event. We met new friends, enjoyed local wines, listened to a great little eclectic band and decided to stay another night ! Super clean, incredible linens, yummy breakfast . We can't wait to come back !!

We were very surprised. First time in a hotel like this and would and will go back to this one. Town closes between 5-6 so eat early. Visited Bending Branch Winery and Hotels Giles was the perfect place to end the day. We wished we had gotten the king bed, we will know next time.
