Our host was very greeting and made us feel welcome. The view of the harbor was beautiful.

We had such a lovely stay at this cozy B&B. A great base location to see the less busy and beautiful Schoodic Peninsula and points North East up the coast. Room was clean and comfortable. Gail, Jessica and Ryan were wonderful hosts and served delicious breakfasts that were well planned and presented well. They definitely put their hearts into making a memorable experience for their guests.
Location across street from the lobster boat harbor and nearby lighthouse offer some quaint views and memorable sunrise, golden hour and blue hour photo ops.

Gail was very gracious and made us feel very welcome. We loved sitting on the porch with a view of the harbor. Our room was light and airy with a beautiful cross breeze. Very comfortable stay.

Loved this B&B. It was just what you picture a B&B in the north of Maine should be like. Cozy rooms with baths Floral wallpaper with overstuffed chairs.yet great cable and Wi-Fi. the big front porch with view of lobster boats in the harbor added ambience. Gail,the proprietor, was very attentive and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast of blueberry pancakes or French toast with fresh whipped cream and strawberries was fabulous! We highly recommend this relaxing place.

Place was very nice. Hotel.com and expedia do not provide accurate location to Bar Harbor Maine. 9 miles across the bay with no bridge and no ferry. It is more like 44 miles and slightly over an hour drive to get to our 6 am drive up Cadillac mtn. Would appreciate hotel.com to provide accurate info on location and not as the crow flies.

Our stay at Elsa's Inn was one of the best B&B experiences we've ever had. Wanting to avoid the typical tourist spots, we found this charming little cottage to be the perfect retreat. It sits right across from a beautiful water body, offering breathtaking sunrises in the morning.
The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, providing us with great recommendations for local sights and restaurants. The complimentary breakfast was delicious.

We stayed for 4 nights at Elsa’s. Gail was a wonderful host for many reasons. The room was plenty big for the two of us with a very comfortable bed and normal sized shower. The morning breakfasts and conversation was great. We were just a few miles away from Schoodic point (Acadia NP). WOW!
The night before we left, someone hit our car and it was un drivable. Gail drove to where the accident happened, loaded her car with all of our stuff, then drove my wife 30 miles to the nearest urgent care. She certainly went above and beyond what most people would do. We are very grateful to her helping us in a time of need.

If you are looking for an older quaint inn this is it. It’s run by one lady so things are not always ready on time. We did not stay for breakfast since we needed to leave earlier than it was ready.

Great location for exploring the Schoodic Peninsula. Gail was a gracious host and served a tasty breakfast. The inn is conveniently located near the Schoodic section of Acadia National Park and nice restaurants in Winter Harbor.

The host was awesome and breakfast was amazing. The early morning view of the sunrise over the harbor across the street was a highlight of our trip. The property was in need of some repairs, but I chalked that up to being so early in the travel season and not getting to them just yet.

Gail was an amazing host. It felt like home away from home. She was very generous to make adjustments to the breakfast based on request. The place was well maintained, and upkeep was top notch. I would definitely stay there again.

Cute & quaint B&B overlooking the bay.
2 of us stayed in Dorothy's room and enjoyed our stay very much. Clean, spacious rooms with all the amenities we needed. The hostess is a gem of a person. She was very kind and resourceful. We loved our conversations with her!
They offer breakfast in the morning and information on things- to- do around. Acadia National Park and Bar harbor are just an hour's ride away. Parking available in the front yard.
Highly recommend for a peaceful holiday by the water with other outdoor activities not too far off!

Elsa's Inn on the Harbor is a lovely, unique, and quaint cottage experience. My sister and I were filled with gratitude for the warm welcome and care that Gail shared with us along with her wonderfully delicious gourmet breakfasts. Her suggestions for our touring of the area were marvelous. Everything was exceptional. It exceeded our expectations. 'Hope to return someday. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Gail was very nice and made good recommendations of things to do. The breakfasts were delicious and we enjoyed visiting with the other guests. We didn’t know that the drive to Bar Harbor and Mt Desert would take over an hour when we made the reservation.

I was so excited to stay at this inn even though it's almost an hour away from Arcadia National Park as it was stated to be on the harbor. It is but, there is a building/house directly in front of the inn as well as comercial usage. The room is very small. The pictures seem to indicate that there was a window seat in the room and that it was on the ground floor. The signature room is upstairs. There is a view to the left of the harbor. This room did not have a micorwave or mini fridge, or ice. As we were on the "road" I had to throw out perishables. The inn is adorable, the breakfast was great.

Everything was fantastic!!!! The room was even nicer than the pictures, and we had an absolutely delicious breakfast every morning. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else! It’s a bit farther from Bar Harbor but absolutely worth the drive.

Our room at Elsa's was lovely! Very comfortable and a lovely view. Gail was our host and was very accommodating. The bed linens were high quality and so pretty. Breakfast was also delicious!
