The Four Poster bed was great, but it was a bit off putting as right next to it were a set of bunk beds, so not as cosy as we thought. Other than that it was great. The staff were great and helpful and the breakfast was superb and great value!

Only stayed for 1 night, the staff were very helpful and friendly, great location in the middle of town so good for shopping , bars and restaurant's. Bedroom was well furnished and very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was great and value for money.

Room decor wasn’t to my taste

The property is perfectly located in Dereham and has free parking. It’s also a pub which is a bonus. Large four poster bed, huge TV (if that’s important to you). Breakfast was very good

The hotel facilities are extremely dated. The room decor, bathrooms and furniture are in dire need of a revamp, however for a one or two night stay if you’re just looking for a place to sleep, it’s absolutely fine

Location was the best bit

Poor generally. We stayed 2 nights and they didn't even make up our bed. Breakfast was slow and it took a while to even be acknowledged. I felt the food was done on the cheap.

I had a single room. Room 5. There were no bedside lamps, The ceiling light was dingy making the whole ambiance of the room depressing. There was no light near the one chair (although there were 2 single beds. There was one light switch and a pull switch. This meant that someone using one of the beds had to get out of the bed to turn the light on and off. There was no iron in the room and I had to use an iron from another room. The ironing board had tiny legs which meant had to kneel on the floor to iron. Whilst looking for an iron in the chest of draws the front of a draw fell off. You could not watch the TV from the one chair only from the bed. I have never stayed in a place where you had to get out of bed to turn a light on and off. I decided not to stay and return home. So I wasted £89.00 and this did not include breakfast. The floor mat from the car park into the rear of the premises was worn and filthy. Not a good impression. I am an experienced traveller often staying in B and B premises and this was by far the worst. Very disappointing.
