Nice hotel on top of Pilatus mountain, beautiful access from two possible stations to approach, one with cable car, another with cog train. You will be staying at about 2'100+ m high altitude, full view of Luzern, very good panoramic view of Luzern lake and the Swiss Alps, needless to say that it is just breathtaking and most people's reason to stay over is the scenery and the view.

The convenience of the hotel package which included meals (Breakfast & Dinner) and have the mountain to us only during sunset and sunrise. Found out during check-out, where there's a luggage service via tram if you wish to hike down the mountain.

2 single beds instead of a Queen size bed in the bedroom and the mattress is a bit too soft.

The room was quite hot at night, but it was ok as we could open the window to let the fresh mountain air in.

The hotel is simply great and it was a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic with a breathtaking view, the hotel is very clean and renovated, the quality of the sheets is very very good. The restaurant is very elegant, the dinner was really very good. It is a place where if I could I would go back even tomorrow. Thanks to all the staff for making my vacation wonderful !

Booking.com doesn't provide customer with the information that funicular is arranged at discounted price for the hotel guest in the ticket office so I had to purchase the ticket by online.

The views and room were beautiful and the experience of getting to/from the hotel was unique, albeit expensive in addition to expensive accommodations. The room was good sized and comfortable. The check in staff was very warm, welcoming, and helpful.

The dinner and breakfast were extremely slow and all drinks were an additional charge. The serving staff did not seem to be very motivated to respond quickly or keep the dinner moving along (could be seen standing around). Everything on the menu was pumpkin themed, all the options, with no alternatives for someone who does not eat pumpkin like myself. The food and dining experience were quite underwhelming for the star rating and cost.

Staff was nice, everything was clean. The 4 course dinner was delicious, breakfast was also fine. Plenty of hiking trails with amazing views.

The only thing we did not like was the bed.
