Great location in the heart of Hawkshead. Lovely modern apartment with great facilities.

The location couldn’t have been better. Spotlessly clean. Able to choose the temperature of the cottage to toasty warm or cool. Coffee machine. lovely freestanding bath and nice toiletries. Plenty of towels. supply of games and books. We were short of nothing. everything in the cottage was of a very high standard. Lovely complementary relishes and discount voucher for the shop below. Enjoyed exploring the recipe book in which to use the relishes.

Nothing. All fabulous. But we did miss a magnifying mirror in the bathroom. Couldn’t work out how the hob worked 🥴. we couldn’t find any instructions.

Everything! The way it was done up was beautiful and also practical: everything had been thought of. Loved the little bits of luxury throughout including the relishes left for us in the kitchen and the nice local bath products in the bathrooms. We came in November and it was a lovely warm place for us to come back to after a hike. Couldn't get over how clean everything was. I mean every nook and cranny was spotless. The word loft suggests a smaller space but there are 2 floors and the place was easily big enough for 4 people. The location was also perfect and the parking pass made things easy. Honestly, we just couldn't believe how lovely it was: we will be back!
