We had the most amazing stay. The property is on a beautiful piece of land with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets! The house was clean and well-stocked. Plenty of room for everyone. Karen was super helpful and we really enjoyed talking with her. It was also in a great location. It was about 15 - 20 minutes from downtown Charleston, 10 minutes from Folly beach and easy to access. We can't wait to stay there again.

We had a great stay at this home. The location is isolated, but felt perfectly safe for a group of girls. We loved the marshy area. The house was fully equipped with anything we would need. There was plenty of room for all of us. The owner is great to get in touch with. We would stay here again for sure!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Summer’s Haven. It was beautiful and technologically savvy! It was the perfect amount of space for our group (one adult and 6 teens). The owners of the property were wonderful and very responsive to questions! Super location! Can’t wait to go back!

The house was even lovelier than I imagined, with beautiful marsh views and multiple, spacious decks. The bedrooms were all on different levels, which gave everyone privacy. The living areas on the main and second level were both bright and large, and opened out onto decks. The kitchen was large and well stocked with plenty of seating. Overall, the home was new , fresh, clean, and cheerful. The owners were excellent hosts and communicators - we will be back!

We had all of the comforts of home. Karen had extra supplies for everyone including toiletries. The kitchen was stocked with paper towels, paper plates, etc. It was great.

This property is beautifully maintained and well appointed with everything you'll need to enjoy your time away from home. The marsh view is fantastic! Karen was extremely responsive and went out of her way to accommodate our group. Would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Charleston.

The house was even better than the pictures showed. It was a perfect weekend getaway for my friends and I. I would highly recommend it and would stay again if we are in the area!!

The house is beautiful and it was perfect for our 30th Anniversary trip. The location was great. The only two concerns for our group was the gravel road and the circular rug on the staircase landing that was slippery. Thanks for being the host for our amazing trip. We will be back.

Loved how modern it was..had bluetooth in the ceiling in the bathroom…super cool. Beds were very comfortable and stay was great. Would recommend to anyone going to Charleston area. Great location as well!!

This house was an oasis in the craziness of Folly Beach. The views were beautiful. You must be able to climb stairs. Owners very responsive and live next door. Pretty spot ❤️

Came for a girls weekend and wanted something cute and close to the beach—this house was perfect! Spacious, clean & comfy. We loved loved loved the porches and bathrooms. The shower made you feel like you were at a spa! The hosts were so pleasant and accommodating. Everything we needed from towels, toilet paper, soap, kitchen utensils, even extra toothbrushes in case we forgot ours—you could tell they really cared about their guests and wanted them to relax and feel at home. Can’t say enough good things and definitely want to come back with my family!

Very convenient to area attractions and restaurants. Host was fabulous!!! Very clean.

Absolutely loved this location! So close to everything but the property feels so secluded. Amazing views of sunrise, sunset, and the marsh. Everything described in the description is correct. Plenty of cooking supplies for dinning in, we’ve traveled a lot and this has been the best stocked for dinnerware, utensils, etc. We will be back and would recommend to all our family and friends.

We had a great visit thanks to this property. The top deck was our spot to relax in the mornings and evenings. Birding was spectacular. It’s location with marsh views was very nice. It was also close enough to downtown Charleston that allowed for quick excursions for eats and historical tours. Thanks to Karen for an easy check in and she provided some suggestions for places to eat after we arrived at the airport and had extra time before 4pm.

We just returned from a six night stay at this home. It is just as it was advertised, very clean and well thought out to help the guests enjoy their stay (toilet paper, paper towels, bath and beach towels, extra blankets, fans in all rooms, mini bathroom toiletries, bose speakers and even some coffee). The home is narrow with lots of stairs but it is laid out so well with many areas to get some alone time if you want or gather together for meals and laughter. Karen is an absolute pleasure. So quick to respond and willing to help in any way. We arrived very late (1am) due to delayed flights. When we arrived she had left some lights on in the house for us and the cafe lights welcomed us as we drove down the quiet driveway to the home. She let us know all of this in advance. Their home is right next door but you never feel like you are on top of each other at all. They have friendly dogs and you can even take one for a walk on the berm if you want! I didn’t read that until the morning we were leaving otherwise we surely would have taken Jada for a walk or two! She was so sweet! The home is less than 3 miles to Folly Beach and 20 mins drive to downtown Charleston. I recommend Taco Boy in Folly Beach and Miller’s All Day which has two locations, one in James Island and another in Charleston. All of the beds were very comfortable and we loved the guest mode on the Roku TV’s. The sunsets over the marsh were beautiful and the upper deck is situated perfectly to sit on the outdoor couches and watch the sun go down. Thank you Karen and Kent for creating this comfortable and welcoming home. We had a great time!

Such a sweet, quiet little place, beautifully decorated with attention to detail. A small point, but I super appreciated the labeled light switches! The little things make the difference. Comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen and lots of bath towels. Great location to Folly Beach, recommend The Washout restaurant, amazing food. We enjoyed our stay.

We had an amazing time and the rental was just prefect. Just as described and pictures are accurate. Karen added some many little extra touches that were greatly appreciated. There was a small plumbing issue that never effected our stay, however it was quickly communicated and resolved! I would not hesitate to recommend this rental to friends wanting to visit Charleston!

Absolutely loved this house! It was a new and unique structure, very tall and narrow but design and layout were exceptional. More than adequate space. It seems a lot of thought went into how this home is set up. Karen was very easy to reach and I would like to commend her on all of the little touches that were included around the house. The bathrooms were the nicest we have ever seen in any rental so far; maybe not large by some standards, but so well done. All of the little shampoo, body wash, conditioner products were great as well as toothpaste and toothbrushes were provided if you needed them. And Karen, I don't know what you use for your laundry but I need your secrets. The towels and sheets smelled heavenly! The bed was so comfortable it was hard to leave. The kitchen is just the right size and well designed. Loved the counter top and the huge sink! Plenty of places to sit inside and out. Comfy couches on the second floor in the TV room. My son really enjoyed the skylight in the second floor shower. Now we need one in our bathroom at home. The third floor sleeping area is small so if you are traveling with a larger group, that is a good space for smaller adults or bigger children as the the small staircase is a little steep probably for younger kids. One of the more creative areas would be the bunk beds in the second floor bedroom. Excellent idea there! The views across the marsh are fantastic! I didn't get a chance to walk the berm but my husband did and enjoyed it. Also, food & groceries are within a 5 to 10 minute drive as well as historic points of interest (Drayton Hall or MIddleton Place) and downtown Charleston is only about 20 minutes. The airport is a 30 minute drive as well as the USS Yorktown (Patriots Point) or the Charleston Naval Base. Very easy commute. Gets busy certain times of the day just like anywhere but was very easy to navigate even if you've never been here. Overall we loved our time here and we hope to come back one day!
