Catappa Village sits on a peninsula and is reached by a short boat journey of 15 minutes. As you arrive all the staff come down to the beach to welcome you. Check in is swift and there is a welcoming drink as you wait. Our room was on three levels stepping down from the bedroom area into an open outdoor bathroom complete with shower and bath. Stepping up from the bedroom was a small sitting area with an outside balcony. The rooms are all built from bamboo and are beautiful. If you are looking for a spot to completely relax then this is it. Catappa is secluded and you will quickly adjust to its vibe. The owner Alvin is a true caring gentleman who is happy to chat and help you with planning your stay. We were offered a days snorkeling at the local Gili islands which was amazing. Led by Bodie one of the staff we were able to actually feed the fish and swim in beautiful turquoise waters. The breakfasts were perfect and our evening meals were also of superb quality. Also they best up an open air cinema for us on their beach which was amazing! We would happily return here and can highly recommend it.

Visitors should note that the water from the shower is seawater…not a problem for us but may be for some. The bar is limited to Bintang or Wine so bring a bottle if you like it stronger. In all honesty though it’s just an amazing place to completely relax.

Alles! Wir haben in einer Bambus Villa direkt am Strand gewohnt. Es war unglaublich. Super ausgestattet, alles da was man brauchte, sehr sauber und so viele schöne Details. Im Restaurant war das Essen aussergewöhnlich lecker und der Pool eiskalt, tolle Erfrischung! Der Inhaber ist ein sehr spannender Mann mit vielen Geschichten von seinen Reisen und Tipps für die Insel und nächste Urlaube. Der Sohn führt das Unternehmen und hat jeden Wunsch erfüllt, auch der Transfer war reibungslos und sehr bequem und günstig. Der Schnorchelausflug war einmalig. Wir waren auf Gili Nanggu und Gili Kedes und wir haben Meeresschildkröten und Nemos gesehen und wurden dabei gefilmt, die Videos und Bilder haben wir danach direkt per Whatsapp bekommen. Es war wirklich fantastisch. Wer in der Nähe ist, sollte hier mindestens zwei Nächte einkehren um das kleine Paradies geniessen zu können.

Gar nichts. Die anderen schlechten Bewertungen können wir nicht nachvollziehen. Von den Fähren bekommt man gar nichts mit und es ist sogar spannend ihnen nachts zu zuschauen. Wir haben uns davon nicht gestört gefühlt. Es gab in unserer Villa auch Warmwasser.

For relaxing times make it Catappa times! We had just a perfect time there. There are only few villas so you feel almost like on the private island.

Everything was perfect. Very friendly staff and great owners. They all made our dreams come true. We were feeling like Queen and King. We could recommend this resort without any restriction. Budi made our snorkeltrips spectacular. Ega was the sunshine of Catappa Village. She made us very happy with her loughing and with Mama Bintang. And at least Alvin and his father were the perfect hosts and arranged everything we needed.

Alvin was the best host ive ever met, very welcoming and helpful. The place itself is gorgeous where i could really feel as one with nature (i had been living in busy jakarta for too long i needed the peace and tranquility this place offers to heallll) since the place itself is very secluded (but they picked me up at the airport-up until the resort so i didnt have any problem with that honestly!). The other staffs was also great, the food was so good and we were given a free snorkeling around the area to see the beautiful fishes and corals. Couldnt ask for more, definitely would come back!

I honestly have nothing i dislike about this place, but if i could recommend people to come here not on november/december as it's rainy season in indonesia hence u cant enjoy the outdoors when it rains, but personally i dont mind, i could still enjoy my stay here with a good book and a cup of coffee in my room overlooking the rain outside.

Alvin was the best host. all our meals were included and were amazing. a snorkelling trip was included in our stay which was brilliant. the staff were so lovely- we felt like part of the family

no curtains in the accommodation so we were woken early by the light. it’s also quite isolated but as we were only there for 2 nights it wasn’t a problem
