Prior to break the host was attentive and we were well informed about the villa, the area and directions. Spent 10 nights at this lovely villa. Had a relaxing holiday in a quiet setting. The pool was fabulous and enjoyed by all the family. The communal pool was quiet throughout our holiday. Within easy reach of Nerja by car although we did walk there and back twice. Supermarkets are close by. A great villa for a quiet and relaxing break.

From time of booking Jean was extremely helpful. Calle Neptuno, is a child friendly villa, child stair gates are provided, for the staircase and is extremely secure to keep the children safe when dining outside. Calle Neptuno, is a beautiful, comfortable and spacious villa, with a lovely shower room and toilet downstairs which is extremely handy, with two young children. Calle Neptuno is in an excellent location, to visit the beach and also Nerja town, with wonderful places to eat and drink. Carolyn( property manager) was very welcoming and extremely helpful. During our 11 nights, Carolyn, came to change bedding and towels. As we were at Calle Neptuno for 11 nights, some positive feedback would be for pool to be cleaned twice, during this time, rather than once. We highly recommend this villa, for families and couples and look forward to revisiting Jean's beautiful villa again soon. Thank you Jean.

A wonderful villa in a perfect location - if you don’t mind a short walk into town and a slightly longer one back up the hill. Two large supermarkets close by and the communal pool is so close to the villa that it feels like an extension of the garden. I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone wanting a quiet haven but within 20 minutes walk of the nearest (and best) beach and not much further to the famous Balcon de Europa and the Al fresco nightlife it has to offer.

A spotlessly clean villa in easy reach of the resort with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Jean (the owner) is excellent at ensuring your enjoyment and her suggestions as to where to eat and visit were immensely helpful. There is quite a steep hill to negotiate into town, but at least you are burning some calories after possibly over indulging down there! Villa is a bit of a Tardis definitely bigger on the inside than out. both pools (private and the communal one opposite) were clean and well maintained too. A great choice for a family get away. Thanks again Jean!

Very helpful staff at be home we were able to check in early too. Jean the owner was very helpful providing lots of useful information. The villa was in a lovely quiet location we have never slept so well. Bars and restaurants were a short walk away. There was a lovely cafe and supermarket just 5 mins walk at the bottom of the road. The outdoor pool was lovely and the communal pool was fantastic just opposite the villa we could see when there was no one there from the villa and had it to ourselves. There was everything you needed at the villa we had a great time. We would definitely recommend staying there.

Just back from a lovely week in this beautiful villa. Perfect for all ages. We were a family of four (2 children 4& 6) and grandparents. The pool was very well used everyday, both by the children and adults. The villa is in a great location for accessing both of the large supermarkets on foot. It is also very close to the bus routes into the town and the beach. We walked to the beach on several occasions. Air conditioning in bedrooms was a welcome addition in the August heat!! Jean was great at answering any queries we had before travelling & giving us lots of additional information about the villa. Everything you could need for a holiday in the sun.

We have just enjoyed 12 fabulous days at Jeans villa which is in a quiet and private location with great facilities.Jean was very helpful during the booking process and recommended places to eat etc.The villa was lovely and very spacious inside and out and had everything you would need for a relaxing stay ,there’s two supermarkets just down the road and Nerja town about 5minutes drive or 15-20 minutes walk.Thank you Jean for letting us stay at your lovely villa.

Everything was just perfect with this house. Located in a nice area with walking distance to city and very close to supermarket and to padel and tennis courts. Outdoor patio and pool was just wonderful and made our two week stay here perfect.

We used a taxi for the other 2 nights and were charged approx €8 each time.The villa was equipped with everything you could possibly need and there are 2 supermarkets within walking distance.We loved the private pool which is the big "must have" thing for us for a family holiday.We had a great time, Nerja and the surrounding towns are beautiful.

Lovely stay in Jean's villa in Nerja and Jean couldnt have been more helpful beforehand. We took our 2yr old daughter and Jean ensured that we had a travel cot and stair gates available to use during our stay and she enjoyed her time there and had a lot of fun. The villa is lovely with everything you need for a comfortable stay - the pool is great and clean and well maintained and the community pool which is a bit bigger, is right opposite the villa. It is in a lovely safe and quiet location with 2 supermarkets within walking distance as well as a number of restaurants/bars. The beach/town are also walking distance but a little further - around 20 mins, and Nerja town is fabulous with plenty of choice for food and shops/bars. Really enjoyed our stay. The only suggestion i would make is to have slightly thicker curtains in the front bedrooms as there is a bright light on the street outside - but i am just quite a light sleeper who loves a dark dark room...!

Five of us stayed at this lovely villa for nearly two weeks and it was spacious, clean and with two bathrooms and three bedrooms it was very practical for us too. The area is nice and quiet which we knew as we have stayed in this area a few times before. The private pool is simply fabulous as it's fairly large and cleaned twice a week so we only popped to the main pool a few times which is literally just the other side of the street ! We don't hire a car as we prefer to walk on holiday but this is not a problem with two local supermarkets just down the road within easy distance. We ate in and out on alternate nights and with a front patio area and a grape vine pergola available we thoroughly enjoyed eating in and a couple of bbq's too ! We also found a delightful little cafe just down the road overlooking the sports stadium which we visited for the odd breakfast, lunch and afternoon coffee or beer ! There is a local chap as a contact in case of a problem but we didn't need him thankfully ! Air conditioning was available which we used at night and really helps keep you cool for a good nights sleep. There was good communication from the owner Jean who kept us informed and was only an e mail away if we had a question before our stay. We would really recommend this villa to anyone needing that extra bit of space with children and maybe grandparents along too as in our case as everyone can escape to their own little corner for a read or just some chill time ! Miss it already !

Myself, my husband and daughter have just returned from a really relaxing holiday in Nerja. The Villa was perfect, everything you needed was at hand. set in peaceful surroundings, the pool was the icing on the cake. We loved to chill out in the garden under the pergalo. Perfect. Two supermarkets within 5-10 mins walk, and a bus stop into centre at the bottom of the road. The walk into the centre of Nerja was a pleasant 20mins, Coming back for me was a bit of a struggle, as I have asthma and it is up hill. I must say it was no problem for my husband or daughter. Jean the owner has been brilliant from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble for her and the information she gave us was excellent. If you like tapas bars and really nice restaurants, Nerja is for you. We were told is was a great place to have a holiday and we weren't disappointed. We will definitely return to the villa and to Nerja

We have just returned from a lovely week at this property. It’s clean and well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the pool and community pool across the road kids had hours of fun there. It’s about a 15-20 min walk into town which is pleasant. Would definitely return.

Lovely villa. Pool and communal pool warm and clean. 20 minute walk to central Nerja which was straightforward route . Very helpful owner who answered all our queries promptly and local contact who facilitated our late arrival time at the property. Really enjoyable holiday.

We had a brilliant week in Nerja at the start of October. The Villa is lovely and well equipped. We have a 10 month old who was also well provided for, with a cot and highchair. The private and communal pool areas were lovely . Although the water was a little chilly to spend too much time in at this time of year we did manage a dip every day, even the baby. We were lucky to be in Nerja while the annual festival was on and so there was lots going on in the town. We walked into town once, if not twice, a day it's an easy 20 minute walk from the villa, maybe 25 on the way back, as it's uphill, although we were also pushing a buggy. There are endless restaurants to choose from in the town but it's also lovely to sit and eat on the terrace of the villa.The main beach is also a short walk, probably 15 minutes there, but very steep uphill on the way back. There is a supermarket 5 minutes walk away which is very handy. Jean was really helpful from the minute we booked with lots of handy tips and advice. We would definitely recommend this villa and we hope to visit again.

Well served with a private pool and a bigger community one a few yards away. Two outdoor eating areas and a supermarket 3 mins away walking meant eating in occasionally was no hardship with the bbq provided. Would certainly be happy to go back there.

Home from home. A good base to see Nerja and the rest of the coast. We hired a car to get us around and after all the hustle and bustle of a busy day, we cooled off in the private pool and relaxed in the garden. There was brilliant sunshine everyday!

We have just enjoyed a fabulous week at this lovely villa. The owners couldn't have been more helpful during the booking process and provided us with lots of information for our first trip to Nerja. The villa was beautifully furnished and had ample kitchen facilities, though we did eat out for most of our stay. There was plenty of room for myself, hubby & 2 teenage children and bliss having a private pool and very nice garden. We were very impressed with our first visit to Nerja, we enjoyed the town, beach and massive choice of good restaurants (particularly good for me as a Coeliac). My husband and son highly rate the snorkelling and diving, particularly over the sea nature reserve. We are definitely looking forward to returning.

We stayed for a week over Easter and had lovely weather. The villa was very nice, clean and well equipped in a quiet location. It was good to have a private pool and communal pool locally. There are many restaurants a short drive away. Nerja is a lovely town and convenient for visiting Granada and Malaga. Jean was very helpful and provided useful tips and advice.

As others have said, the customer experience from very first contact with owner Jean is exemplary. She makes every effort to ensure everything is in place to ensure the perfect stay, including advice on transfers and car hire. This attention to detail is also mirrored in the "Information pack" that can be found in the villa on arrival, a wealth of information that would put most professional hotels to shame; including tips, useful contacts and even a few "Tapas Tours" which I really wanted to try! The villa itself is lovely - bright, spacious, and with all the mod cons to ensure you feel like you're home away from home. It has pretty much everything you need. Air conditioning, which is in every room (although in October we didn't need to use it) would have been an absolute must for us in hotter months. The private pool is lovely for a convenient dip and for the kids to play under easy supervision; the larger communal pool, right across the road, is another option if you want more swimming space or to simply be amongst other people. The property is out in a pleasant and peaceful part of town - but with two good supermarkets, a tennis club, and a few bars (including the Hotel Nerja Club with regular entertainment) all within about 5 minute walking distance, you're by no means isolated. €8 taxi ride or about 25 minute walk (with pram) gets you to the centre of town and the Balcon. Or alternatively Burriana Beach is about 20 minutes walk downhill - though the walk back up is a bit of a workout, especially pushing a pram! The local taxi service is great, they arrive within a couple of minutes of calling, and from both town and Burriana there are plenty of taxis available from ranks. Nerja Town is a lovely place, with plenty of choice of places to eat and a nice "hustle and bustle" that's remained unspoilt by mainstream tourism - it's more about nice bistros, international cuisine and street entertainment, rather than bars, nightclubs and all-day Full English breakfasts - making it a pleasant place for families throughout the day, and even late at night. I'd have no hesitation coming back to Nerja, no hesitation in staying in this property, and no hesitation in recommending it to others of all ages, but especially if you have young children and want that extra peace of mind of a safe and secure home-away-from-home.

We've just returned from a week in Nerja and stayed in this Villa which more than lived up to our expectations. It was in a quiet and private location with excellent facilities. There were 5 adults in our party but there was plenty of room for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The villa was clean, well maintained and had everything we could want to give us a home from home environment. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped with a decent oven and hob, microwave and toaster (unusual in kitchens abroad). Jean was really, really helpful and gave us lots of useful information for our stay. We would definitely recommend this villa and its location.

What a lovely villa, we had a fantastic time, our 15 year old was never out of the pool. Would highly recommend it ...
