Falta de mantenimiento en general. Grandes humedades en la entrada. La habitación necesitaba reformas. Humedades, papelera oxidada, paredes que necesitaban ser pintadas con urgencia. La ducha se giraba y tenías que sujetarla si querías aclarar bien el pelo. El secador en recepción, como en los años 80. Nada que ver con el nuevo edificio. No es barato precisamente; el edificio antiguo no merece las cuatro estrellas. Desayuno pobre. Nos pusieron unas salchichas quemadas y la camarera, se dió cuenta y, aún así, las dejó en la mesa ante nuestra estupefacción. Decepcionante. Habrá opciones mejores por ese precio.

Charming Spanish Hotel with beautiful courtyard’s and gardens, pool areas. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. Great choice at breakfast and the restaurant courtyard in the evening was lovely, the food was very nice, we ordered the suckling pig, octopus, deer and hake . The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Excellente localisation, hotel magnifique et historique. Chambres confortables et personnel accueillant. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

El hotel es maravilloso en cuanto a situación, instalaciones, y la habitación. Es un propio monumento donde no parar de hacerse fotos. La habitación muy limpia, todo muy nuevo (al menos la que me tocó). 2 piscinas para refrescarse del calor del verano.

El desayuno un poco escaso. Pero lo que tenían estaba muy bien. El bar caro. Pedí 2 cervezas y fueron casi 10 euros.

Das Ambiente hat uns gefallen. Einrichtung genau wie abgebildet. Kleiner schöner Pool. Schöner Garten. Super Frühstück. Nicht weit von der Altstadt . Man fährt mit Rolltreppen auf den Berg und ist nach einem kurzen Fußweg mitten drin. Zurück sind wir vom zentralen Platz den Berg runtergelaufen ist machbar bei uns war es nur ziemlich heiß draußen 40 Grad. Im Garten gibt es eine Bar und ein Restaurant. Die Getränkepreise sind ok. Das Restaurant bietet gehobene Küche mit dementsprechenden Preisen. Wir haben uns das mal geleistet und waren zufrieden. Wir hatten Glück und haben einen Parkplatz direkt am Eingangstor gefunden. 2 Stunden kosten 1,70 Euro.

In den Sommermonaten muss der Parkplatz Mo-Sa von 10:00-14:00 Uhr bezahlt werden restliche Zeit umsonst Wobei man in der Bezahlzeit nur für 2h Parkdauer bezahlen kann das heißt wir mussten um 12 Uhr noch mal zum Auto.

The gardens are lovely and the location was good. The hotel itself had some nice features and an historical feel. A good size bath. Clean comfy bed

We didn’t like our room (112). We had booked to celebrate our 43rd wedding anniversary. The room smelt musty (not sure if it was from the bathroom). Our view was a dusty courtyard that looked like it needed a clean and housed the air con units. The fridge didn’t work and no hairdryer in the room. You had to ask for it at reception. The bath had a crack on the bottom and the sides hadn’t been sealed properly. The plug was difficult to get out as it had no chain. The breakfast buffet was disappointing. The orange juice was watery and tasted like a mix of pineapple. Definitely not fresh orange juice. The coffee machine kept breaking down and was not fully functioning when it was working. The cooked breakfast was odd. The tomatoes were not cooked on my husband’s breakfast just served raw. On mine I asked for scrambled eggs , tomatoes and bacon. The tomatoes had been chopped up and added into the scrambled egg giving it an odd bitter taste. Considering the good reviews for the restaurant (which wasn’t open for lunch or dinner while we were there) we were surprised and disappointed at the breakfast buffet. Also the toaster took ages to brown the bread. This though is not unusual for hotel toasters. The plates were too small to accommodate the cooked breakfast. The coffee mugs were all odd ones resembling someone’s household crockery not a 4 star hotel. Fruit was limited to one type per day. Yoghurts (one flavour) were kept in tiny personal coolers you get on Amazon not proper catering fridges. Went to get a coffee /drink late afternoon to be told the bar was closed. Disappointing and glad we were only there for two days.

El desayuno es muy cutre, hay cuatro cosas y si quieres un zumo de naranja, te lo tienes que hacer tú con un exprimidor viejo, medio roto y sucio

Super great location at the bottom of the mechanical stairs leading up to Old Toledo. Staff is very friendly and helpful including delivering a hair dryer to our room. Traditional restaurant on premise that has a wonderful courtyard. Hotel is easy to find and parking is closeby.

The hotel grounds were fabulous, and the hotel location was great.

There was a festival the day we arrived and we had a major problem driving into the town and hotel. I think the hotel could have warned us and we could have arrived later? Also when we tried to book a table at the restaurant we were told they were full both upstairs and in the bar but we went and got a table in the bar which was and stayed half empty. The food was very good which was great.

Beautiful Hacienda and lovely courtyard. Room was lovely, clean and bed was good. Breakfast was very good and staff very helpful. Location excellent and easy to walk to all the historical sites. Parking close by.

The atmosphere is really special. If you like history and unusual places to stay at - this is the place to book! Their breakfast is excellent too.

You can't drop off your luggage if you arrive earlier then their check-in time.

Prime location, boutique hotel Reception staff friendly and helpful

Very much in need of updating and repair all over Not good for anyone with mobility issues steps and cobbles throughout Breakfast was served in a conservatory type building which in Dec was freezing There were two members of staff on breakfast duty both appeared too busy to bother with the guests Continental breakfast was laid out for self service and a menu on the table listed the hot options but not once did the staff approach any of the guests to ask what they wanted, they had to be sought out (both kept disappearing into the distance) and it took at least 15 minutes to arrive once ordered. In my opinion the hot order should have been taken when we arrived and had been seated but instead it took 45 minutes in total.
